replied on: 4/21/2008 1:15:19 PM Hi, this is my first time using this forum and im trying to find out a little more about my grandmar who passed away recently, Muriel Bestwick. All I know about her wartime past is that she (then muriel warren) worked at Collaro on the vic hallam site during the war, making shell casings as far as i know. She was young (under 20)being born in 1925 and that she also worked at burnams is it? Also she used 2 go to i think it was Codnor Minor's welfare which is where she met her husband to be and my Grandfather Jack Bestwick. If anyone can give me any information atall on either of my Grandparents, even just commenting that they knew them from years back, i would be very gratefull. Chris. |
