Earliest Derbys. Marriages by Name and Date
replied on: 4/21/2008 8:52:06 PM

In the 1861 census Sarah is widowed and has Mary age 13 living with her. In the 1871 Census I can't find Mary Gillott (Sarah only has her grandson Charles with her) so I would assume that Mary had married by then.

So it would seem that only a couple of the marriages listed above would qualify.

In the marriages listed for 1868 prospective grooms are Thomas Calladine and Joseph Rawson. It might be worth getting the certificate.

On the 1871 census there is the family of Thomas Calladine (age 21), wife Mary (age 21) and daughter Sarah (age 2) listed in Heanor
