I've got my mother copy of the book its not in print now and Mr Thorpe died ( I don't know if he was related) and the book is very hard to come by.
from the book
"research into the Woolley family has been conducted with the assistance of John Woolley of Liphook, Hampshire, Mrs Fletcher of Lodge Farm Shottle, who wrote "The Woolley's of Codnor" in 1979, and Chris and Dorothy Woolley of Home Farm Alfreton Road, Codnor. All these people are descendents of Samuel Woolley who settled in Codnor in the second half of the 1600's"
