No worse than when I make my dyes. I consign myself to having to eat another's cooking.- All right Topaz I suppose that will work this time. |

replied on: 4/7/2004 1:29:17 PM -eyes of jet black midnight follow Topaz as she cooks, making note of where my pans are hid, once all are asleep I creep across camp, barely clanging the pots as I retrieve them once more. I don't know who hid them this time but its becoming a quest of sorts to keep track of them. Before the sun begins to peek over the horizon, I set a big kettle of water on to boil, and a smaller one also. I wake up many a vulo as I gather eggs. I place them in the big kettle only cracking a few of the shells. I take a cloth pouch of tea leaves Dira made and place it in the other pot for hot tea. My leathery weathered face crinkles in satisfaction. Stop me from cooking will they. I can boil water. I hope...- |
