Archimedes 'Measurement of a Circle'
posted on: 1/10/2004 12:41:15 PM

I was reading 'Archimedes in the middle ages' vol 1 and it says that there was a corollary as well as the 3 propositions in Archimedes Measurement of a Circle about the area of sectors of a circle.

Does anyone know what this corollary is or where i could find it out?

Thanks
herbert

I propose to use HEIBERG´s edition of the
works of Archimedes. There the proposition should be found.
