Hi, im not too good with Maths! And im guessing you guys are!

I need to work out an equation that will solve this problem!

Ok here it is:

The number is:
0404402

and the answer im looking for is:
8239

If someone, could make an equation to get 8239 from 0404402, i would be willing to pay you as i need this equation for a computer program i am currently working on!

Any help on this would be great!

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but just take 404402=8.239(49.083869...)

Again, I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but you can just type that right into your calculator.

Well,
I didn't get what you actually want. The numbers can be manipulated in lot of ways.
Please explain your problem in details.
Thanks

Hi!

This problem seems more complex than i thought it would be!

But anyone wanting to try, be my guest!

Ok, it is a 7 digit algorithm or 11 digit!

Here are 2 examples of the final answers that you would get with the correct equation!

1.
Number: 0404402
Answer: 8239

2.
Number: 0588988
Answer: 6598

The equation must solve those problems. I thought it could work using the mod 10 algorithm, but ive tryed and it does not get the right results!

Any help would be great on this!

Thank you!

let ur eqn be y=ax+b,(1)
where x is number and y is the answer.substuting the above 2 numbers and answers u have given in 1 and solving them respectively find a,b.that should give u the required eqn!
