Here is a challenge involving simple vector calculus:

Given the vector field F=[3xy^2]i+[4zy]j-[(2x+3z^3)]k, bounded by z=x^2+y+3

Find:

Curl F at the point (1,3,7).

My English level is quite limited. Please forgive me.

Does Curl means the reverse trangle with a X on the right side?

if so, I think Curl F is the determinant as follows (p is the symbol for partial differentiation)

Curl F = det[i, j, k; p/px, p/py, p/pz; 3xy^2, 4zy, 2x+3z^3]
= -4y i + 2 j - 6xy k

When {x,y,z} = {1,3,7}
the value will be -12i + 2j -18k. Is this right?

That's correct! Good job!
