I was so happy when Magician came out last year in hardcover since all of mine are paperbacks. I'm waiting for the other two to be rereleased in hardcover. Hayley

Read everything by Feist, thought Magician is stil his best book and the Daughter Of The Empire trilogy (co-author Janny Wurts) was good value too.

It's a good solid start to the new series,I loved the opening lines took me right back to Magican.The book focuses a lot on Pug's son Caleb gives you an insight on how he feels about being a non magic user growing up amongst magicans etc.We revisit Kesh and Kelewan,We meet old friends and new. Feist may not be the greatest writer in the world,his books may be simplier and a lot less complex than others,but he spins a good yarn.He's still my favourite author
