Must admit, I've never heard of her. What books did she write and what were they about?

Got access to the current series. It's intriguing from what I've perused but I've not properly sat down and read the entire series yet, more bits 'n' pieces.

Maybe one day when the TBR pile finally falls below three figures...

One thing i dont like about this authors series is the length of the books, quite long really for a YA read

Today I finished reading The Naming. I thought it was an ok read. Sometimes I would find my attention wandering, especially in parts where they were just travelling and not much else happening. The fantasy plot itself wasn't very original either. I think the best part of the book were the characters, so based on that I would probably read the rest of the series.

Ah I see. I tend to skim over those parts when they write poems or lyrics.
