no not really. LOL I used to cross stitch but i got tired of that after doing it for years. I also love to scrapbook but i'm so far behind and the kids won't let me do it in peace. I can read when they are around but they want to help when I scrapbook and trust me a 4 year old with scissors, markers and glue is not a fun thing. I've tried letting them do their own books while I do mine and that was a big fat failure.

I do Cross Stitch, though only just took it up again. I use to do it years ago, but when i started studying I had to give it up.
I'm really enjoying doing it again though as it's very relaxing

I also like pen palling and have 45 pen pals in various locations in the UK. I have one overseas pen pal, not so many overseas now as they tend to loose interest.
I tend to collect stationery because of this hobby and whenever we go away on trips I'm looking out for nice sets

I'm addicted to Sims, even more so now I've got the University extension pack. Trouble being I need plenty of time to play it so dont go near the game if I have assignment deadlines.

Of course this Discussion Group is another of my hobbies. I do research for it, and try and find info of interest. I really enjoy doing it and of course chatting to the members

I love watching movies, and tend to spend the evenings when my hubby is on nights watching movies from my small DVD collection. Best thing that was ever invented was DVD

And last but not least studying. Even though it can be hardwork at times, I find I actually get a buzz out of it

I like playing on the computer, surfing the net, listening to music and drawing. I go on the computer way too much.

Me too. I've been playing the Discworld computer games, trying to figure out how to beat the dragon at the end, and I've been playing Theme Hospital. So computer games are my new unhealthy hobby.

What subjects do you like drawing, IceDrake? And which art mediums do you like using? Charcoal? Or just shading pencils?

Well, I guess I'd consider myself an amateur artist. I just draw with pencils. I like drawing animals, dinosaurs, and mythical creatures. I'm not too good at drawing people.

Has anyone tried Card Making? If so how complicated is it?

I've bought myself a starter kit for embossing cards and stamp set for card making. I'm just staring at it hoping for ideas to pop into my head. I wish I was naturally artistic.

I've done it now, I completed a couple of home made designs and totally hooked . I went and spent a mint at a local craft shop too. I seem to be getting real arty as i get older

I leave it open as a link to this forum

Pleased you liked the cards. I thought perhaps they were too simplistic.
