chris pallini. sorry to his fans, but i felt that eragon should have sat on a desk for a few years, then been looked at again and re-edited. the writing was very good in places, but i did have to check him out to see why it was so inconsistant. i wasn't surprised to find that he was very young when he wrote it.

These aren't necessarily badly written, but I never could get into the Redwall books by Brian Jaques.

I have to agree with this one too. His lack of experience really showed.
