Sorry to hear that Magi, terrible news.

I don't own a dog but I feel that if the animal is in pain and has been diagonsed as suffering from a terminal illness then the humane thing to do would be to put it to sleep. The long term welfare of the pet above that of the owner should always prevail IMHO. Easier said than done of course I realise.

I've had the most horrible day,the dog hasn't been well took him to vet on friday and he was given an antibiotic injection.Back today vet thinks he has cancer.He can have an operation but vet doesn't think his heart will stand it and thinks the kindest thing will be to put him to sleep.Don't think I can go through with it, but am I just being selfish?
