Quote | Reply | | jon posted on: 8/25/2003 4:02:56 AM jon page 1 panel 1 1/3 page panel:we see a half close-up shot of the earth from space the foreground is littered with space ships(all uniform looking)facing toward the earth caption:ON THE EVE OF MANKINDS DARKEST HOUR THE TYRANY OF MAN WILL LAY WAY TO A MUCH GREATER THREAT. FOR WHILE THE HUMAN RACE FIGHT FOR GREED AND EVIL FOR THE 8TH TIME IN HISTORY THEY REMAIN BLIND TO THE FACT THAT A PLAGUE IS COMING..... panel 2 zoom in shot of earth we see a single country with splashes of clouds and hints of citys on a massive scale caption:... FOR A CENTURY THEY HAVE WATCHED FROM AFAR,DISCOVERING STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF A DESTRUCTIVE RACE, WATCHING,WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT.......... panel 3 zooming in closer now on a single city from above we are just above the tallest structures, here the buildings are massive and the base of them along with the ground cannot be seen caption:....AND AS THE VAIL OF DARKNESS FALLS MANKINDS ONLY HOPE... panel 4 overhead veiw still zooming in we are now about 30-50 feet above the pavement (alley in between 2 buildings we see a young man running(jon) he is holding a laptop like device under his left arm he is dressed in his cyberpunk outfit(see character design 1) slighty behind him we see 3 other young men chasing him 1 is on a hoverboard he is average height and build and is dressed in thug gear(see thug character design)the other 2 are large muscular build,tall also in thug gear they are pursuing on foot caption: ...IS A BOY NAMED JON page 2 panel 1:a worms eye veiw shot about ten feet behind the 3 thugs,we see all 3 thugs in pursuit in satggered distances(as above)ahead we see jon running with his laptop device under his left arm glancing back at his persuiers over 1 shoulder with a frightened look on his face thug1"IM GONNA WAIL ON YOU EVEN MORE FOR MAKING ME RUN FAGGOT!!!!! thug2"YEAH YA LITTLE PUNK YA SHOULDA JUST GIVEN IT UP" panel 2 we have a front on veiw of jon(eye level height) and panned back so we can see almost his whole body he is making a sudden change of direction down another alley way to his left in the backround we see the 3 thugs in pursuit jon:"LEAVE ME ALONE" panel 3:a long slim panel taking the with od the page,an overhead veiw(birds eye)of the narrow alley way very dark and gloomy we see the alley is a dead end jon is running and his pursuiers are a lot closer now jon"O ****!" panel 4:jons eye veiw of the end of the alley,hes about 15-20 feet from it,we see a thin slot in the metal wall right at ground level we see a dull glowing light(emphasize that this a hole) (note: the slot should span the width of the wall and should be sized so only a small or slim person could crawl under) jon"O WELL'' panel 5:we have a side veiw of the alley including the steel wall that makes up the alleys end we see thw slot at the base of the wall with the slight glow. jon is airbourne diving toward the slot with his laptop device under his left arm and the right outstretched,a look of of uncertainty on his face (note jon is the only person in this shot) caption:THE ACTION MOST COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE LEAP OF FAITH panel 6:a worm eyes veiw from the other side of the steel wall (jons perspective lying on the ground)we see the slot with a veiw of the 3 thugs feet thug 2"WHATTAYA WAITIN FOR GET UNDER THERE I WANT TO SCORE AT LEAST SOMETHING THIS WEEK!!" thug3:"FOOL DO I LOOK SKINNY ENOUGH TO GET UNDER THERE thug1"C,MON YOU IDIOTS LETS GO FIND SOME OTHER CHUMP TO JACK!" Panel.1:we see jon in a dark alley/hallway (enclosed roof) he is lying on the ground half on his side half propped on one arm(as if trying to get to his feet) in the foreground closest to the camera we see his laptop device a green light is flashing on the top. (the angle is worms eye view) sound effects:BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP panel 2:we see a close-up now on the laptop device we see jons hands opening the lid revealing a half view of the glowing screen thought balloon:MUST BE ANOTHER WAR UPDATE panel 3:we see a straight on view on the laptop device now (from jons perspective holding it in his lap) we see his right hand holding the top corner and a hint of the keys and buttons below the screen. The picture on the screen is of a news network emblem and the words “emergency update”below.(note in small text the words “official enforcer endorsed broadcast”  Panel 4: full screen now. We have a aerial shot from above the alien crafts as they are descending down through the clouds towards earth> below we see hints of battle explosions etc devastated terrain its very misty and dull looking Reporter bubble:”citizens of the world these incredible images are coming to you live from the enforcer optic-drones currently circling the battlefield on the outskirts of m1 Where only moments ago thousands of what look like to be airbourne city blocks entered Earths atmosphere undetected Panel 5:same as panel 4 only much closer to the ground we see much more action below now ,tanks enforcers etc Reporter bubble:”it is not known as of yet where these massive structures have come from nor what their purpose but enforcer intelligence informs us that they are all about to land in formation behind both hemispherical forces lines, along with a break-away group which we are currently looking at which are descending into the fire fight Page 4 Panel 1:ground level view of the battle field we see some enforcers fighting large hand held cannons etc whilst others are looking up one enforcer should be dropping his weapon in shock/horror. Above we see the massive ships about to land Reporter bubble:’’we are switching now to ground zero as the unidentified crafts are about to land. if you are just tuning in what you are seeing are live images of what can only be described as incredible and certainly the answer to mankinds eternal question as to whether we are alone in the universe is about to be answered”. Panel 2:a front on ¾ view of the now landed ship (with others in the backround) there is still hints of fighting but most are looking to the landed craft now the 4 front doors are slightly opened on the craft it is still very misty and bleek Reporter bubble:’’The only though in this reporters mind now is are we about to welcome our new allies in the galaxy.. or meet our new plague Panel 3: same view on much closer singling out one of the 4 front doors on the ship the door is almost completely open now(in the fashion of a ramp) we see partially hidden in the shadow a large robot(15 foot in height)it is heavily armoured Caption:FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANS HISTORY THERE IS SILENCE, THERE IS NOTHING TO SAY, LIFES BACKROUND FADES AWAY AS ALL EYES ARE FIXED ON THE MACHINE OF PLAGUE Panel 4:small panel ¾ side view of the robot walking down the ramp we cant see its head(cut off in the shot)behind another set of robot legs emerging Sound effects:CLUNK CLUNK Caption:THE INTRIGUE AND WONDER OF THE SITUATION ARE OVERSHODOWED BY THE FEAR…. Panel 5: a eye level shot from the human perspective facing the robots in the backround we see more flooding out of the huge ships in the foreground we see the backs of enforcers all facing the robots tanks and other artillery are scattered amongst the image Page 5 Panel 1full page pin up with secondary panels toward the bottom.we have a similar shot to the previous panel only panned back a little we see the robots attacking the human army(enforcers)the robots are launching heavy artillery rockets/more traditional weapons of war at the humans where as the human forces have more laser/tech style weapons Caption:…AND RIGHTFULLY SO Panel 2:small panel we see a enforcer optic drone being destroyed from a robot missile Reporter bubble:CITIZENS OF THE WORLD WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!!! Panel 3 small panel we see a side on view of a robot stomping on a tank Reporter bubble:GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL!!!! Panel 4:small panel we see static (white noise) Page 6 Panel 1: we see a shot of ground level shot of jon leaning against the alley wall the camera is directly in front of him we see the back of the laptop devices moniter and the clow from the screen reflecting off his face he has a look of disbelief on his face Jon:”O MY GOD” Panel 2: side on view of jon still gazing at his screen in disbelief we are at roof level we see a boot coing through the roof (thug) through a manhole type arrangement Panel 3:we see a close-up of jons face with the screen still reflecting off it Jon:IS THIS THE END OF EVERYTHING? IS THIS ALL I GET GOD? Panel 4:same shot but with jon suddenly looking to his left Sound effect:CLUNK Jon:HUH Panel 5:same shot again but with a fist punching jon in the face Sound effect:CRUNCH! Panel 6: an aerial shot (roof height ) of jon laying /cowering on the ground his laptop device about 6 feet from his reach surrounding him are the 3 thugs in a triangle Thug1 “YOU AINT THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOW SOME SHORTCUTS AROUND HERE MUTHA****ER” Thug 2”ALL THIS FUSS FOR A CHEAP ASS COM ,YOU BETTER HAVE SOME CREDIT ON YA TOO Thug 3 “ITS CRUNCHING TIME BOY” |
