Catwoman Break-In!

not sure what i'm doing, but wanted to draw some catwoman sequentials so figured i'd write it out. here it is:

Catwoman Break-In!

Page 1

Panel 1: Shot of Gotham City from the river. Panoramic View.

Panel 2: View of a building on the corner. A light is on on the 4th floor.

Panel 3: Zoom in on the window with the light on.

Panel 4: We see Selina (The Catwoman) sitting at her vanity table in her sleepwear preparing to turn into the Catwoman. This shot is at an angle, her back is facing us but her side can be seen also. Large mirror in front of her. We see her bed to the left of her up against the wall. A cat is lying on the bed. A whip is hanging on the wall also, and her mask is on a manikin’s head on the vanity table.

Panel 5: A shot of a round gotham like clock on the wall. The clock is chiming. The short hand is on 12am. It’s just turning 12am.

Panel 6: Close up of the Catwoman’s face. We see her with a smirk on her face.

Page 2

Panel 1: Jump to a shot of the Catwoman prowling a rooftop fully suited up now. She’s caring a large bag.

Panel 2: Close up of the Catwoman with binoculars.

Panel 3: Through the binoculars we see RaChelle’s Jewelry Store. Fancy writing on store’s window.

Panel 4: The Catwoman is now climbing down the side of a building on a rope.

Panel 5: She checks her watch, setting the timer for 15 seconds. (The time she has to pull off the job and be gone before the alarm goes off.)

Panel 6: She’s now at the window.

Panel 7: Her face is lit up with a very bright smile.

Panel 8: We see her hand, palm facing us. Prowl kind of look for the hand.

Panel 9: SNKIT! Same shot of the hand except her claws pop out.

and thats all i've got so far...

good stuff man. Although I think you could split page 2 into 2. 9 panels is cool even up to 11, but from the interesting action I see in each one you wrote, I feel it best to spread it into a 3 pager. That way we can draw a nice image big enough to catch an eye.

Always keeping in mind that while story telling is important, so is the market demands, and usually, a good looking page is what does it first.

I wish I had more time one my hands so I could translate what you wrote onto paper. Hey maybe I'll atleast sketch it out to see how it looks in my head.

The thing I like about this is your vision is cinematic and I could see this in movie terms. I havent seen your art, but I can feel the vision and that's very cool!
