replied on: 1/15/2006 10:09:22 PM here some shiat... just some warm ups... i drew up the hands because rod said i was avoiding them, and i was... so i wanted to work on them today... and ya the rendeirng sucks of the head i did before... but it looks better in person.. my scanner is just a piece of shit so... it makes my drawings less clear and more gritty... i dont know why but it does...

replied on: 1/15/2006 11:29:02 PM good shit bit im glad to see you still going hard, heres my crap, anywho, im going to continue these regular studies of my hand in the hope that i am more confident in drawing them from the imagination, because its always a hazy area for me. Same with the arm bones i think the key to learning it is the way the forearm bones twist and lock into the joints of wrist and humerus, but i still find it tough...tomorow i plan to do some more studies but also some imagination to balance it out.. these are from some drawings by bammes.  these are purely from the mirror looking at my left hand, trying to apply what i learnt in bammes studies

replied on: 1/16/2006 6:14:36 AM nice stuff guys... rod your hand studies make me want to draw... they are really good and precise... im not sure if u know how to render hands with the creases and all... but you should do a few rendered... even if you know how, but its always good to keep it in the back of your head... nice robot man... def some good stuff... alittle too big though... hard to see the whole thing at once... i like it though.. keep it up |
