sausagetherat Quote \| Reply \|	Oldies of mine replied on: 1/22/2007 2:35:35 PM Hey NAr- Sorry didn't see this post earlier Any who the curly hair on the girl is just dolls locks I found at Michaels Arts and Crafts. The dudes corn rows is just yarn. I hot glued the girls hair on and used Elmers' or some other wet glue for the dudes head. However, I've made some other sculpts before that turned out much better (gave them away though)And the thing that always makes them reallycool lookin' are glass eyes. Sculpting eyes and painting is fine- but the glass eyes make them come to life! Really cool stuff. Down side is they can be expensive. I'd pay around $15-$22 for a nice pair of 8 mm sized eyes. Bigger = more expensive, smaller a little less. But if your sculpting a figure and want that WOW factor, put in some glass eyes. If you ever watch people- the first part of a sculpt they look at is the face. It's kinda cool to hear all the goofy coments because the eyes make the thing look so much more real! And BTW, if you're really interested for one of your peices- there are places that sell wigs for dolls. Come in all different sizers and styles. These really make a good sculpt look cool!!
