replied on: 10/7/2007 9:27:21 AM im waiting for a Avengers movie its just day dreaming but if they somehow did a marvel movie with all the original actors from all the movies made by marvel so far (Xmen, Punisher, Daredevil, Blade, Spiderman, Fantastic four) with an insane budget and do like an infinity wars story arc or a Civil War or something on the grand scale like that it would be very cool |

replied on: 10/7/2007 11:03:59 AM I think they are actually planning on making an Avengers movie. Im also looking forward to the Silver Surfer spin off that I think already has a script made for it. As far as day dreaming goes Id love to see a secret wars or a Infinity Gaunlet, now those would be insane movies. |

replied on: 1/9/2008 4:39:58 PM Im def going to see it opening night too. everything looks true to the comic the armor looks perfect (i think its even cooler than it looks in the comic) and Robert Downey Jr. is perfect for the role. I am one happy camper about this movie and to top it off the video game adaptation of the movie actually looks kickass (and thats pretty rare.) Bravo marvel.

replied on: 5/2/2008 9:53:21 PM Just saw it! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INCREDIBLE. Im still in awe, theres nothing not to like about it, perfect casting, breath taking effects (seriously the transitions between cg and real is seamless) plenty of easter eggs for fans of comics. This was an amazing movie. The story was awesome and Tony Stark was so well played downey Jr. is the definitive iron man in my imagination now and the suit they made for the movie is better than the source material. Go see this I have much to discuss and I do not want to spoil it. It def lives up to the hype. |

replied on: 5/3/2008 8:57:11 AM I saw it last night and what a way to start off the summer comic movies. Just incredible. Not a dull moment in it at all and Robert Downey is perfect for this role. I will def. go see this again. The Xbox 360 game is just as kickass once you get use to the flying aspect of it so I would give that a rent too. And make sure to stay AFTER the credits. ; ) |

replied on: 5/4/2008 7:21:20 PM Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that was a BAD ASS movie. I need to see it again and again and again. This just might be better than Spider-Man in my book believe it or not and to me Spidey was the $#!t. I no one had seen it you need take your you know what and watch it.I was hoping that the movie wouldn't end. Iron-Man took the coolness Factor to a whole new level.!  Am I exaggerating?????................ .....Nope!!!!! From start to finish this movie made you want to pee in your pants so you wouldn't have to go to the restroom. I am definitely going to watch it again.

replied on: 5/4/2008 8:40:51 PM Me and the Ms.’s went to see IRON MAN today and we both can sum up this movie with two words... F@CKING AWESOME!!! THIS is how comic book movies should be made!! Not since 300 have I had this much fun at the movies!! Favreau’s love and respect for this character shines through the film from the great opening, leading into a flashback sequence that ties all of it together for the build up to the mark 1 armor escape scene!!! Tony Stark is a womanizing, Scotch drinking. Functioning alcoholic / engineering genius! This is the single greatest translation from comic books to movie screen I have EVER,.. EVER seen!! How often do you see that in comic book movies? And the suit, damn,... Stan Winston''s FX crew work is stunning!!! a tech nerd like myself's wet dream, made reality. Action scenes are great and the humor that Robert Downey Jr adds to the character is just one more thing on a list of many that make this GREAT movie work!!! and about the ending.... its with Sam Jackson as Nick Fury informing Tony he was not the only superhero on the planet then he ask's Tony to join the Avengers Initiative!!! F@cking A!!!!! |

It had everything a normal movie would need to be good then you top it off with the super hero type of movie and you get blown away! In my honest opinion it was better than spiderman and almost as good as batman begins, not quite though. I grew up with Ironman, i knew and loved him long before i started learning about spiderman, so i was really amped to see this movie. It filled all my expectations and more. The suit, omg the suit! However i was disapointed with one thing. They never had him in the suit and say "i am ironman" with the tone of ironman like they did in the cartoons, i was waiting the whole time for that. Along with this i have not read or heard a single bad comment about the movie. I heard one by some dumbass "critic" QUOTE QUOTE but he always i mean always downplays good movies. He gave Spidey 3 a 7 and pirates a 7.5 etc.... |
