Iron Man! Ok...Anyone else here excited? ^^
replied on: 5/5/2008 6:21:40 PM I did type out some long post but got an error so im gonna shorten it this time lol. I grew up with Ironman, i knew about him long before Spiderman, and i remember as a kid id wake up extra early in the morning to watch Stan Lee's Ironman cartoon. Then after it would be over id go back to sleep lol. That being said i was extremely amped up to see this movie and i must say it filled all my expectations. Not only that but the quality of the movie impressed me so much in every way. I just hope i can do this one day lol. Along with that ive yet to hear one bad thing about this movie. Ive heard one on my local TV station but the guy completely sucks at movie reviews. Anything with comedy automaticly gets downplayed by him and if he isnt fond of the idea, in this case Ironman, he will downplay it some more. Other than that though its been all thumbs up! BEST MOVIE IN A LONG WHILE, sine batman begins at least. |

Batman was not even better than Spider-Man yet alone Iron man!!!!!! .......am I trying to start something here?????........Maybe!

replied on: 5/5/2008 10:07:36 PM What a fag....lol Dont know Batman was just told in a way that i liked. Im a huge batman fan so that may be persuading my way of thaught lol. Ironman really kicked some ass though, however Batman gets to return the favor with The Dark Knight.

replied on: 5/6/2008 4:17:20 PM i saw it and loved it i am a mech freak so yeah this one appealed to me a LOT!!! no bad critiques here they stayed true to the character and even to the origin story just made it more contemporary thats all loved it |

replied on: 5/6/2008 4:39:07 PM dude, batman begins was only okay, like a 6/10 for me....doesnt compare to Iron-Man. And i agree with Apple, Spiderman and Ironman are the best comic movies!!! bot spiderman and ironman get 9/10 for me as far as a movie goes, and a 10/10 as for comic movies go. |

Well if you don't I just let me tell you that we have to be the Luckiest Generation Alive!!! Lets see, we just had Iron Man, next is Hulk, then in 2010 we have another Iron Man for April 30th, then Thor on 6/4/10, then Captain America 5/6/11, THEN!!!! The Avengers 7/11........Man are we Lucky or what!!!!!!!!

replied on: 5/7/2008 1:40:12 PM I read that Thor is going to be making a cameo in Ironman 2 to set up his own movie, then from there they are going to set up the avengers with the Thor movie and Captain America. I just hope they agree on a date for another Hulk movie because he was announced to be in the Avenger movie, so waiting that long to see him again will slip peoples minds. Where is Antman and such movies though? Along with that Marvel also officaly announced Spiderman 4 in progress and will be out soon, cominc years, so i cant wait. Maybe we will see carnage. |

replied on: 5/7/2008 8:05:20 PM I saw it I saw it I saw it!!!!! Badass badass badass!! Loved it. I wish I didnt stay till the end because when I saw Sam pop up, it turned into comedic nonsense. I do NOT look forward to an avengers movie. THOR? Are you kidding me? LOL.. well thats just my opinion. Thor was my least favorite character in Marvel Universe. Its not even a Marvel based creation. Ironman rocked though. So awesome. Cant wait for it to hit dvd.

The actors name escapes me now but he was also in Get Rich or Die Tryin. He also gave my favorite one liner in the movie. After Stark escapes the cave and the helicopters recue him, the general goes "So how was the fun-v, next time your riding with me" loved it!!! |

replied on: 5/8/2008 5:39:43 PM the character was James Rhodes AKA War machine Rody was cool in this movie Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury was awesome Its just like in the Ultimates I hope this avenger movie is more like Ultimates than regular avengers both are cool mind you but Ultimates would make a more contemporary style movie awesome stuff |

I really dont like how Sam Jackson is playing Nick Fury, did you know Marvel went through and completely recreated Nick Fury based on Sam? Thats why he got the movie. Thor movie can actuelly be cool. I mean if its not totally Thor and it has other charecters pop in then it might be really cool. However if its just Thor i dont see it doing too well in box office. |

When I watched the movie it clicked in my head the ten rings of power belong to the Mandarin Ironman's main villian so I smell a sequel! And Im also betting that War Machine is going to be in it. |

replied on: 5/9/2008 7:02:51 AM Have you guys seen the trailer of HULK when you went to watch Ironman? OMG .... I was so dissapointed with how rubbery fake Hulk and Abomination looked. Why do they always have to go 100% cgi on these things? I swear, if they wouldve built some animatronics to blend in with the CGI, it would look a whole lot convincing like in Jurassic Park. That dino movie still holds water even by today's standards. The advantage Ironman had with the visuals is that his suit was non organic making the cgi a whole lot easier to work with. Damn Robert was golden as Stark. Oh, and if theres to be a Thor movie, man... it would have to be like some type of 300 type movie or something. He'd have to look more viking'ish than he does now. I dont know.. Thor. Never got into that character.

As we have already had the CG vs CG and animatronic vs animatronics.... I wont get into it, but I'm still really liking what Ive seen so far. And the fact that Ed Norton is playing Banner has NOTHING to do with my level of excitement for the movie!  IRON MAN freakin rocked my unmatched socks off!! OH MAN!! I VERY rarely speak during a movie, but this time, I just couldnt help leaning over to my boyfriend with the occasional: "this is sooo cool" comment! I LOVED Jr's performance, I LOVED the cast, I LOVED the effects! I also got super excited (sorry if yall have mentionned this already) when Rhodes looked at the silver suit and said: "next time baby". Cause see, I didnt know War Machines name, so I only figured it out when he said that. Actually when I first saw the posted and saw that there was a black actor, I immediately hoped for War Machine!! Man I love this movie!! And yes, YES, I would LOVE to sleep with Tony Stark!! (I know nobody asked, but I wanted to express it all the same!) PS I agree that Batman begins was just good and not AMAZING!! It was a very good film, but it didnt strike me as the best super hero movie, not at all. When Iron Man finished... after the credits and Sam and all, I turned the Paul (my bf) and said: "best super hero movie EVER". He didnt quite agree, he's on the Batman Begins train...

replied on: 5/9/2008 11:00:13 AM i totally agree with Nar tho. think the CG on this looks worse than the first hulk. I thot that the first hulk was way more convincing. Tho i like the tone and colors better on this version, but he looks really really really fake. Its realy frustrating how fake he looks. He doesnt blend in with the environment, he has too much glare as if his skin is plastic and he moves like an action figure. Plus, did you see when the guy walks up to him and Hulk kicks him...wtf was that.....if hulk were to poke someone with his pinky that person wouldnt be alive anymore, imagine a kick....but no, the guy gets kick directly in the chest, gets sent flying but is still alive.....hmmmmm.......dumb |
