Lookin' good, sir. I'm glad you got rid of the excess skin detail to take care of the lighting properly. Doin it all super fast is one thing, but doing it right is another.

Right you are, Red! And doing it fast and right is also another thing i hope to accomplish.

It's really awesome to see how this is being built up!

I'll say! I'm having fun watching everyone else post their killer WIPs!

Now I'm gonna get picky... Is there a particular reason why you chose to paint him in a standing, character design type pose? I know this is new for you as a medium, but you understand anatomy and lighting so well already, Im just curious to know why you wouldnt go for a dynamic pose? <img src=http://www.narcomics.net/emoticons/sm_1/0_8.gif>

Not being picky at all Red. The reason to this was already explained above. And if it wasn't clear enough little red ridinghood ^_^, I basically wanted to start from the bottom and work my way up. My skills arent all there yet. Though you say my anatomy and lighting is well nourished, I feel that some of this isn't true in all honesty. I know what I hack in, and painting with a wacom allowed me to see beyond. Literally. Not just the experience itself, but the awesome possibilities of it. I seriously need to brush up on my doodling skills if I want to achieve what I have pictured in my crazy skull. Top Notch no joke professional work. This is just the beginning for me. And I'm moving as fast as I can to get things right. I only started to learn how to draw comics at 18 years old believe it or not. Before that, it was all grafitti, which is funny because I almost completely forgot how to use and mix the best colors when jumping into comics.
This Spawn will be a complete conceptual piece definitely meant to have no pose whatsoever. Its just a model. I intend on blowing up specific details, inluding of course, the head, for portfolio purposes.

And after Im done with this one, I have something up my sleeves coming which will feature a full on scenario which should be the toughest challenge YET!! There will be plenty of poses for ya then. hehe.

Thanks for taking the time to comment Kate!

You know, this makes me wonder how KickAss the next NCU contest will be with so many of us utilizing our Wacom boards. Can't wait for that to come around.

Hey there Nar. New member added to your following . Anyways I am an Artist of course about to get out of college and I plan on trying my hand at getting somewhere with comic art, or illustration. I have a partner that is doing this with me, actually he's the reason why I heard of you. Anyways I have some artwork that I am currently in the progress of working, well except for one of them.

This is a cover idea being used for our first comic. It's called "Harvester":

As you can tell, not done yet, but in the process of it.

And here is a hulk picture I did, literally in no time, because project was due. (Took 20 minutes)

Let me know what ya think and anyone else for that matter.
