This is a story set 50 years in Wolverine's future. He's an old man by this point and has turned his back on violence after a catastrophic event, when the villains killed almost all of the heroes in the Marvel Universe He "Logan" has a middle-aged wife and two children and a peaceful life on his farm but people never seem to leave him alone. The world is populated by the triumphant villains and their descendants who rule over the remains of society. A few scattered heroes still exist but 'super hero' is no longer in the world's vocabulary. It's every man for himself now. Most of the characters are dead by this point but their descendants play a huge role. Spider-Bitch for example is the granddaughter of Peter Parker. The Hulk's grandchildren are maybe my most horrific creation yet and there's a constant power struggle between the children of the super villains that now rule the United States.

This sounds like its going to be one kickass story filled to the brim with action and awesomeness. And I cant get enough of McNivens pencils. Brilliant idea Millar this is going to be one helluva awesome ride. My only complaint is does she have to be called spider bitch? Its kinda funny in the sense that its ridiculous but it just sounds stupid to me. But the idea of old Logan killin people Clint Eastwood style (thats who old wolverine is supposed to be modeled off of in this story) and a hulk gang of hillbillies is too awesome for my brain to comprehend right now.

Great Artwork and a cool ass story setup!! The Redneck grandchildren of Bruce Banner own the West Coast and Logan is a Hero no more. Now he is a family man / farmer... and get this,he is a pacifist!!! Did I mention Hawkeye shows up, in the Spider Mobile that Johnny Storm built for Spider-Man.
