I mean the cartoon was kinda boring to me, my dad loved it, but i just couldnt sit through it at all. Then i saw the preview before the chipmunks movie and at first it looked cool then it started looking really really dumb. Im kinda wondering how this movie is going to do. i know it has fans but no one seems to be interested in it, my friends at least. Dont know if it can beat Ironman even though Ironman has sold a ton over the week.

I may see the movie but Im not going to go out of my way to see it until I learn more about it.

It did have wild effects to where some people might think its dumb but i think that the effects direction they went in was perfect. i dont think the movie couldnt have been a better adaptation. And BadApple hit it on the spot. Most fans are 30+ years old. But yeah, definitely a good movie. im so sleepy tho, it was 2.5hrs long and so i didnt get home till 3 and i had to wake up at 5 to go to work so now im fried....it was worth it tho

Every single bit of it was dead on and very close to the original. A more contemporary vision of it nothing less from the Wachowsky's. I did not even know they directed it until i saw the end credits. It all made sense to me I expected a cheese fest with at least good special effects. But there is some actual depth to the writing and some stark criticism to the automobile industry and other themes in this movie if you read in between the lines. it is a fun movie with a message in it using a old awesome cartoon show as its base and i loved it a lot.... it had it all: Romance, action, cars, effects, pretty good dialog believe it or not, romance and at its core the story of a family in a very cartoony yet morally realistic fantasy world.
