I am still working on this as it should have been completed a few days ago but....yeah.... Anyhoo, here is what I have so far. Here is a quick look at my progress for this one. Enjoy People!!!

It's pretty cool actually and very simple. It's basically smudging your line work first and then adding a layer of color and high lights. If anyone is interested I can post up some links to the Vids.

I think that this has to be by far my best attempt at a female character. This is for my Character Design Class. We had to incorporate an insect with a person and we had to come up with an original idea. I have 4 more to go by tomorrow ( yeah I know, good luck ) but for now, Enjoy People!!!

My only crit is I would like to see more contrast it almost has a washed look to it I think some more intense highlights will remedy that and really get your art to pop! Overall, sick man!

I love the highlights on the first creature thingy, and really cool design. The chick is really nice as well... the colours are nice and I agree with Surf, more contrast is always better! Unless your looking to produce a washed out look of course. Good call Surf Oh and could you post the links you spoke of?? I would really like to see teaching on highlights.

Its only going to get better from here. One small thing stood out and it happens sometimes. Her arms need to be a little bit longer. Just a little. Remember that the fists end in the middle of the thigh and above or below (unless youre drawing an ape). Good stuff either way buddy.

I say them cause there's more to come. Red, I'll get those Vids up as soon as I can get some breathing room As for the arms NAR, I do see it now and I also had made some torso adjustments that I didn't catch but my GF did. So again thanks for taking the time and throwing in a few pennies. Ok enough mushy mushy stuff!!! Here is another one that is fresh out the oven. Oh and I'm sure there are some mistakes so if anyone catches them, please fling it my way cause you tend to miss things when you sit in front of it for hours! Enjoy People!!!
