Seems everyone and their Dead granma's say taht these days. But anyway, thought I'd repost some of my old stuff here in a new thread instead of spending a few hours going through pages upon pages of old posts jsut to find my previous thread. So without further dealy. Here they are.                    Inking this one right now. should have it done by Mid week if my timing is right.   This is my latest (along with the Aloha piece in the first. Both were finished by Saturday). took a while to finish, but I'm rather happy with it, and looking forward to laying the inks down on it.  |

replied on: 5/26/2008 1:04:55 PM Well, the !Aloha! and Tooned pieces are the Newest of the Bunch. The Queen of the Damned piece (her on the throne between the Tiki's with all the skulls at foot) I should have finished inks by tomorrow. Just have the backgrounds on the left side..Trees and Torches and grass blades, plus Her and the Tiki's and the throne to do initial lines, then just have the brush work to do plus all corrections (and there's plenty of them concidering many of the lines have bled. Then I may jsut get to the 2nd Pirates Booty piece. That should be the easiest of them all. |

replied on: 6/22/2008 10:36:18 PM So, I've been a little busy here, as always trying to get stuff done for San Diego. think I mentioned before this is the first year in like...YEARS that I've actually got more to show than just 1 or 2 pages in a year. Now it's closer to like 10 this past year....and that's just Inks alone. Funny side story relly quick, at WWLA earlier this year, I showed most of these to Vince Hernandez at Aspen, he was quite surprised that I actually have some penciling skills, and wondered why I don't pencil my own pages...and why I stick to inking. Anyway, here's some fixes to my MUGged piece which I'm gonna be inking up shortly. the Mug's are gonna be a Bitch, but looking forward to it.  and Latest inks on the Tooned piece.  Speaking of Tooned, I had an idea th other morning for my next piece. an Homage to one of my favorite Disney classics, "the Sorcerers apprentice". Hopefully I can get on it and finished before Halloween. Hell, if I can get it colored before then I might be able to sell prints of it before the holiday arrives. Wish me luck guys. Got a TON of work to do. |
