Started her a while ago, but put her aside because of other work, and not liking the way I was drawing her, made a copy to lightbox her face (because that was the best part of the original pic) and redo the whole thing. Finished her last night after about 2 1/2 days of work, mostly at night.  |

replied on: 8/11/2008 4:36:05 PM Well thanks Necro. And yes, I do spend hours, if not days on the details I put into each piece. And in all actuality, most of these pieces took me Months to do, because I'd been working 2 jobs (one in retail, and the other as an assistant inker) for almost 3 years. Only time I got to draw was during my breaks and lunches at work..you know, 1 hours a day, and sometimes I'd spend an hour drawing on the bus on my way home. I've really only finished penciling 2 of these lately at home (not working the retail job anymore, and haven't since April) and trying to get back into Inking these, but I've got a couple more I need to lay down on paper. But I've been trying to get back into designing some characters for a book I want to do. Not gonna post them here, but you can see them at http://splotchy77.deviantart.com More to come soon guys. I've got one I'm just about to start on, and it's a sequal to the Spider piece above. |
