Not sure how many of You actually watch the Marvel animated movies. I liked the first Ultimate Avengers movie but they hosed the second one majorly. The Animated Iron Man movie sucked. The Doctor Strange Trailer I saw looked pretty damn sweet. I dont know you decide. Enjoy! |

replied on: 5/28/2008 1:30:45 PM This one actuelly looks preaty good. To me the first Avengers movie really gave me hope as i thought animation would be making a come back, not just CG anymore. I love animation movies like this. However after the first avengers movie it kinda went down from there. Avengers 2 went back to the same old and i dont know why it would be rated PG 13. Ironman, im a big ironman fan, but this one wasnt done to the extent i wanted it to be, for one why did they choose to make it so un realistic and jumpy....The dr strange wasnt worth buying. This one however looks very interesting to me. Ive always loved the xmen cartoon and this one reminds me of xmen evolution roots and i loved that series. Im just glad marvel teamed up with Sony pictures to bring back the classics, i mean we are getting xmen tv series, ironman tv series, and we have a really cool spiderman tv series. However why hasnt marvel done a PG 13 spiderman animtated series? Id love that. I do, however, think DC is doing a better job with this. I mean Superman Doomsday felt like i was watching a real movie and it had some the best animation in a while, was just epic. Justice League movie was really neat with its classic animation, could be better, but i still enjoyed it. Batman, even though its sadly anime, still looks very awsome! All their movies so far have had realistic movie aspects along with reasons to be PG 13. You can also tell they are taking time to make them good as they release later and take longer to make. I dont know if anyone was at comic con last year but man they were fully backing both superman and the justice league movies. |

replied on: 5/28/2008 1:55:27 PM The reason doctor strange looked so intresting to me was the animation, I love really fluid animation it seemed to have it. Of course a good story is needed. I think this X-men movie looks promising I just wish they could go a different direction. Why do they keep shoving Wolverine down our throats? I would really like to see an Age of Apocalypse adaptation, or even the Onslaught saga. I agree with you one the Superman Doomsday movie. Didn't like the voice over cast as much but the story and animation were just amazing. The fight between Sups and Doomsday was the sweetest animated fight I've seen in awhile. |

Like when Ironman came out wasnt their slogan "watch this to get ready for the movie" or get it first or something? DC is doing the same thing with Batman, and i believe one reason they cancelled the justice league cartoon was to not tie it in with the live action movie? Dont know but i think its advertising to an extent. They want you to realise Wolverine is a cool character and want you to jump on board the movie etc.... I like Wolverine so i dont mind it much lol. |

They need to take him out of sight for awhile and reintroduce him later. he needs a vacation he's been workin hard for so many years. |

I love Wolverine but I also said the same thing about having him put back in the closet for a while and focus on other characters. Then bringing him back out. Too much exposure takes out that great mystery that once was there. Well, atleast the show looks pretty badass. I'd watch. |

Just the fight between Supes and Darkseid at the end of Justice League Unlimited was better than the entirety of S/Doomsday, and the story? Ugh to the power of a googleplex... |

As for transformers cartoon, you couldnt loose my interest any faster with the design they used. I mean the old old cartoon was awsome, the last one was bad, and it looks like this one will be worse. Spiderman cartoon though intersts me, i have been wathing it since the launch because the story and on helps alot. Plus im noticing they are taking a spin on the classic stories, like right now he is hating MJ while all the other cartoons and movies had spidey love him from the begining. I just love saturday morning cartoons thugh, its the only time ill watch an hour or more of cartoons  . Unless a justice league, batman, or super hero marathon is on somewhere. Does anyone know where to find out about the ironman tv series? Ive been excited to see this one since they announced it. I used to love waking up to watch the one that lasted 2 seasons lol. |

replied on: 5/30/2008 6:49:45 PM yeah they are promoting wolverine a lot because of the movie and i believe cap will be the next one as well i wish DC made more live action movies i like the actors they chose for superman and i liked the scenes where he is fighting that guy with the machine gun and the one scene where where he rescues the plane perhaps if they had a movie with darkseid it would be cool as hell |

replied on: 6/11/2008 8:45:55 AM yeah that's probably the one thing that sucked about superman returns. no villain to match superman's strength. all the possibilities, and they stuck with lex luthor. not that i'm complaining. spacey owned the role.
