K, so I know I said I wasn't going to do any MMP2 cards this year, but I went ahead and did a very few number cards for this set after all. Even with my impossible schedule, I tried my best to do as much as I could. Which wasn't that many. I used MMP2 to test out some new drawing techniques to deliver much sharper linework. I'm always thinking of ways to put out better cards than my last sets. If everything goes as planned...it should get pretty exciting. spsm21 I hope you enjoy these for now. I shall post more scans later! Rock on everyone.  The scan is a bit large, but if its any trouble, let me know and I'll shrink it down. Im a bit tight on time right now so my apologies just incase. =]  |

replied on: 6/18/2008 8:16:26 AM Nar's Masterpieces 2 more like! Love the little details like the little web parts over the spider-man card. The Doom card is so good, the cloak / hood looks sick, I don't see a lot of people do that kind of stylization anymore (and make it look decent.) |

I think I've said this before but I will say it again anyways......You just continue to raise the bar that we...sorry....that I want to reach. Seeing this amount of detail just makes me want to, well lets just say that when I finsh typing this I need to go change my whitey tighties!!!!!  This is the stuff that I grew up with and this is the stuff that I am working on! Dude, Keep Rockin it man!!!! Keep Rockin It till the sun don't shine. You my friend are on a league of your own......at least until I can catch up to you heh heh  Ok it's getting sticky around here so I'll just end it with this... ...Awesome work man! (As if you needed to add color to these masterpieces.) You are definitely one of the artists who live up to the "Masterpieces" branding!

replied on: 6/18/2008 9:35:28 PM New techniques? NEW TECHNIQUES??!! I think new MAGIC is what you mean to say! Holy moly! I agree with Tim, you are definitely improving. Not just sketch card wise, but in general. Your women's faces are getting better and better and your range of emotion is clearly broadening! The Punishers facial expression is awesome! The details on Wolverine are astounding! Well the detail on all of them is, but that piece is remarkably close to the quality of your larger pieces! Yes, yes, I know that if you put them side by side, you'd see far more detail in the larger drawing, but the overall impact of the art is that of precision and control! You cheeky beast... how dare you keep such a secret from me.. from ME!! giggle, just kidding.
