replied on: 6/24/2008 3:39:44 PM I just used another layer, colored in what I wanted to glare. then I blurred it in the right spots. Turned the layer to screen I believe and then added outer glow to the layer. Hope that helps and isn;t to confusing. I want to make a tutorial but I suck at explanations.

replied on: 6/24/2008 5:02:45 PM i think i got it... you basiclly color the whole image regularly, with no special light sources, and after that you color the specific areas you want to have the glare on with the tone (for example deep blue) and then with no speciel dodge or burn just change the layer to screen play with the opacity and add the inner\outer glow... is that about it? did i got it? |

replied on: 6/24/2008 5:57:56 PM I believe you nailed it right on the nose bro!  Now there are three seperate layers for those light sources. One is done for the basic lighting, the other is done for the backlight. and one is done for the electricity. I believe the lighting is on screen and the others are on overlay. Just play around with it bro. and have fun! |
