Well one thing is for sure, there will never be another Death Race 2000 like the original. if no one has seen that yet I would definitely recommend it. It's a 70's ( I think ) movie so it has that feel to it but just an original concept. If you ever hear anyone say " 10 points for running that guy over " is something that came from that movie

It had Sylvester Stallone as Machine Gun Joe Viterbo. I enjoyed that film. This new one has nothing in it that reminds me of it. The plot looks thick headed too. The cars arent colorful or weird. Just scrap metal on top of scrap metal like the ones in Road Warrior....god I hope they dont remake Road Warrior. Everytime they try to remake a classic, all they do is jerk things up.

Then i was looking at it and its EXACTLY the same story as The Codemned, a movie, with the added bonus of cars. However i loved both games and i reall loved the movie so in a sense i want to see this. However id just wish Hollywood wasnt so lazy and would come up with something new. The whole hire a criminal make him turn against you and win in the end has been used so many times now.
