Im not that anxious to see it.....im gonna see it tomorrow morning at 9am so that im not amongst the annoying little teenagers that like to yell during the movie to get attention. Only one franchise will i sit through such nonsense for and that is Spiderman.

replied on: 7/18/2008 8:06:52 PM No teenagers screaming out in this one, at least where i was. The crowd was cheering, crying, and happy though and it was amazing. I dont think i can say just how great this movie was in words lol. It was truly amazing and im the biggest batman fanboy there is yet i lvoed it all. It was more like a batman detective comics story than just batman, and everything was dark like batman originly was meant to be. Joker omfg still the best villian in history with my other close favorite two face, both done extremely well! Christian Bale just owns everyone. Im just going to wait and see if the Oscars idiots try to pass this film up. I hate the Oscars because they always nominate crap etc... and was reading the article the other day that because Batman is a comic book film it is less likely to get even nominated. That and the fact that Heath Ledger has alot of buzz because of his death almost disqualifies him as well. WTF? He was frigging awsome in this movie i dont care what anyone says. Christian Bale was even better! All i know is this movie will be nominated in award shows that actually nominate good films. Ironman it was fun while it lasted but The Dark Knight just obliterated you and the entire Spiderman franchise lol, with one movie too.

Dont get me wrong im a huge huge fan of the spiderman trilogy, i went to them all the day they came out as well, own them all, and have tons of memoribilia from them etc... Ironman was amazing and was probably the best intro to a hero, im so tired of watching beginings but this one jazzed it up some. As for a family or a friendly movie those ones will win easily, it appeals to a wider audience and its easier to love. Batman though was deep, dark, more mature, and had a over better appeal to me. I love the detective style of it, the way it was dark, and how they portrayed the characters. After all The Dark Knight had 1 here, 2 villians, 3 characters, and all of them were played out extremely well. Spiderman 3, probably equelly hyped, had 3 villians 1 hero and one character and wasnt done well, just shows who is the better director for a very hyped up movie. This is just my opinion so dont think im attacking anyone, i know people will disagree as we all have opinions. I support everyone elses as much as i support my own.

replied on: 7/20/2008 5:52:56 AM I officially hated Tobey Maguire Spiderman since part 3. They made him into a cry baby wuss. Part 3...all I can remember was crying. Crying crying and more crying. Yuk. Batman Dark Knight is definitely the film I want to see soon! They sold out everywhere i looked for this weekend. Both fans and critics gave it really high marks. Usually its either one or the other. And it seems to still be doing as strong as opening day. 18 million? nice. Im glad for that.  This is the month of the Bat. And I still love Ironman. That movie was all jazz.

And after that event, your bestfriend hates you and wants to kill you because he thinks your a bad person (which would already bother me) and that you are a murderer who killed his father. And the Doc Oc that you looked up to turned to an evil man and tries to kill you and your girlfriend. Then you finally get to be with the girl you've loved since elementary (even after she was engaged to someone else) and she doesnt understand what you are going through and then leaves you before you get the chance to propose to her because you want to spend your life with her. Then some bonehead takes your job from you. Then having the city you save everyday hate you, and then when finally, some start to love you, your girlfriend is mad at you because you enjoy the fact that you finally have some thankfull people. And then!!! to top it off, Your bestfriend finally comes to light on the subject of his fathers death, only to be killed at the end by the bonehead that took your job from you!!! Trust me, you would cry! And the Dark Knight was brilliant but there were issues....ill spill them after everyone has seen the movie |

replied on: 7/24/2008 12:02:19 PM Ok, We went to see the Dark Knight yesterday and All the Hype about it being good is wrong! It's Fucking Great!! This is the best comic book movie I have EVER seen! Ledger performance is Oscar worthy, I was shocked on how well he consumed the role. I have walked around all damn day, talking like the joker..... Man,.. have my customers been freaking. Their just lucky I didn’t tell them a "JOKE" From the opening that shows the “deadly fun brilliance” of the Joker to the ending where a hero is turned into a villain to save a city. I was hooked with this film, And yes, I thought Iron Man was the best comic movie since the Crow, but I now eat those words happily. The Dark Knight is Perfection!! ___________________________ unless the Watchman movie turns out to be as cool as I remember the comic to be.. |

replied on: 7/26/2008 7:07:56 AM  i saw it yesterday, man....great movie! i REALLY don't like movies like Batman, Spiderman and all that hero movies, but this one...i didn't even plan to watch it, my friend called yesterday let's go to the movie, i asked him what we're watching, he suggested few movies and i said ah hell let's see The Dark Night! and BAM i like it a lot! ok, i admit Christian Bale is one of my fav actors but DAMN Heath Ledger was f***ing brilliant!!!! he deserves reward for Joker! i remember i saw some of his interviews about this role, and it's something VERY strange when he talks about it, definitely he lost his mind a little bit! so people go watch it! ps. the only thing i really think it's funny it's that Batmans voice, it's kinda....
