They did such an amazing job wrapping everything up. The action/animation was so full of win! They couldn't have ended the show in a better way. I only hope the creators do something else. Those guys are so awesome!  |

replied on: 7/20/2008 2:34:10 PM I enjoyed the series a great deal, as it was a fresh vision and certainly inspiring. I was saddened to see it end, but the creators always meant for the series to be a trilogy. Good news is that there will be a new series that takes place in the Avatar universe, as there were a few questions left unanswered in the current series (so a big WHOOPIE! there  ). Also, there will be a liveaction movie based on the just finished series called The Last Airbender (with no "Avatar" in the title due to a rights situation with another film coming out with the name Avatar ). M. Night Shyamalan is set to direct it, so I have my fingers crossed that he will do a good job in respecting the already rich and enthralling story (he is a good storyteller but is he the right one for the job). |

replied on: 7/20/2008 8:01:51 PM I knew about the movie but, I had no idea they were doing a spin-off of the show! How exciting! Where did you get this information?! Who are your SOURCES?! hahaha. Thing I loved most about this show is, it wasn't just made for kid's. It had a very real life feel to it. The stories told were so amazing. The animation, oh god the animation, was so amazing. I can't wait for the book 3 box set to come out. |

replied on: 9/2/2008 12:44:47 PM Just finished up season 1 (finally) and so far....this show lives up to the hype and more. I love this show. Im so glad that i decided to watch it. These guys who wrote this show were very smart and creative. Nowa days, cartoons have no depth. All shows are actually going the way of stupidity and Avataris definitely not one of those. replied on: 9/3/2008 5:32:04 PM I AM happy about the fact it has an ending i love Naruto and I love bleach but there is no ending in site... and it just gets to me because i had to wait 5 years for DBZ to end ( i saw it overseas, growing up, the Japanese had to wait like 10 years or so) and i feel that's what these shows will be like so Avatar does look appealing right now |

replied on: 9/7/2008 3:38:00 PM I actually intend to do it! I want to make a show for my story about catalyst. I have to get the ball rollin on the comic first! lol I'm working on one book now. After I get used to the pages, me and the friend who is writing, will start on the catalyst story. Right now its in a major planning stage. We have so much story laid out atm. Its gonna be huge.

replied on: 9/8/2008 10:02:46 AM Just finished season 3 last night!! Great Show!! Awsome ending! ........but..... i want more damn it!!  So i did some research to see what will be next from these guys who created Avatar. They asked the creators to do a Book 4, but that said no to that. But!! they did say that they are interested in doing a spin-off of the series. Dont know what they would do it about but they left the ending of Avatar open enough to do a direct spin off of the series with the same characters we love! They are currently casting for The live action movie. M. Night Shamylan (dont know how to spell his name)will be directing it. They are currently doing a casting call to all who want to try out for the Role of Aang. They are looking for boys from 12 -15yrs of age with a heroic personality and some training or any idea of martial arts. They said any ethnicity as well. BUT!!!! knowing that its hollywood, we already know that they are gonna chose a little white kid. They already casted Katara as a little white girl. These characters are asian!!!! cast asians!!!! That is a smack in Asian Cultures face if they cast more white kids for asian roles! They read in chinese in the cartoons. They wear Kimonos. They are monks and samurais and ninjas........anyways! yeh |
