He can turn either light or shadow into a physical matter type form and shape it or he can form and shape it in it natural form. He can also travel through the shadows as well as sending othrs through them as well. Though these manipulations he is also able to fly. History: Robert was born into this world in a very normal way and lived his life as many normal people do. As he finished up High School he like so many of the people in his generation were looking for a job so they could go to colledge. Yet he found like many that the work within his home town was scarce, and that what work that was there was not well paying. So his father in the course of things managed to convince him to go into the military. Eclipse was not one who cared for war or the ravages that it caused, so he joined the Air Force and became a medic. This way he could help those in need and also avoid being a direct part of the killing and destruction caused by war. In his time he spent most of it on one base in a 1000 bed hospital. He soon met a local woman and married her. In his duties he took care of patients who were injured from Panamal and other scirmishes that occured, but when Desert Storm occured he was deployed as his mobility unit was sent out. He soon found himself in a contingency hospital in England far from any of the fighting, but that was not to last him and a few from his unit were sent to a MASH hospital that was set up in Saudi Arabia. There his life was changed forever. In the first week he was there a scud missle was launched and as luck would have it the patriot missle that was launched to intercept it did not hit it's mark. The scud exploded near the base. At first many thought that they were safe. What they did not know is this missles war head was filled with a biologigical mutanegen that they had bought from another country. The effects were devestating as the mist rolled over the camp and the DNA mutanengen took ahold of the people most died as their bodies were horribly mangled and deformed other as their skin melted away. Only a very few survived Robert was among them. The Mutanengen did not fully effect them as they managed to get part of their chemical warfare clothing on. Yet they were effected. In time they were brought to the states and seperated none ever hearing from the other. Robert was given a full medical discharge and retirement as his lungs were highly scared and thought that they would never heal. Yet in time they did and as they did he soon found that he had some unique abilities, but he also found there were some side effects as him and his wife found out that every child that they would attempt to have were deformed and would die from his infected DNA. His wife soon left him and he moved back to Illinois and became a Paramedic up there, and working for privates services up there. He also found out as he made his local check up in the VA that his powers that he gained by that exposure was killing him, the more he exerted his powers. The shorter his life span would be. |
