Wacko Jacko - Off To Jail?
replied on: 12/2/2003 8:32:10 AM What I don't get is why the cops just let him slide, especially since his privates were accurately described to them. They even had pictures taken proving the first kid had seen him naked. Money or not, they should have at least gotten a court order for some sort of supervision at his ranch, & a definite no no order for sleeping with kids in his bed. |

replied on: 12/2/2003 6:39:16 PM Because it was all settled hush hush outside the Judicial sytem in civil court. The DA didn't have anyone to testify, thus, no case after the settlement. So, officially the court knows nothing about it. But they've changed the laws now, so anyone making the initial accusation is forced to testify in court. It won't be so easy for him to dodge it this time around. |

replied on: 12/3/2003 10:18:17 PM I agree. The parents were totally irresponsible just for letting the child go to that ranch. But I wonder if maybe they weren't trying to set themselves up for a lawsuit against him later. You never can tell, there's some sick folks in this world. |

replied on: 12/8/2003 4:31:45 PM Hope he realises that the "...kid is not my son..." line that he uses in 'Billy Jean' won't stand up in court. Ugh! |

Wacko Jacko - Off To Jail?
replied on: 12/10/2003 8:25:57 PM AGAIN? -Leaked report contradicts Jackson abuse charges- There's been an unexpected turn in the Michael Jackson case. According to a confidential document published online, police and child welfare officials in Los Angeles, California have already cleared the pop star of sexual abuse allegations. A website that's made publishing such documents its stock and trade, The Smoking Gun, has posted what it says is an investigation report dealing with the same allegations now before the prosecutor in Santa Barbara. "They essentially confirmed that the document is real as we already knew but beyond that they couldn't talk about it, which is what we expected," site editor William Bastone told the American TV network ABC. In the apparent summary of an L.A. Child and Family Services probe, the agency's assistant regional administrator Jennifer Hottenroth writes: "The investigation by the Sensitive Case Unit concluded the allegations of neglect and sexual abuse to be unfounded both by the LAPD-Wilshire Division and the Department." In the report, the mother of 12-year-old child behind the abuse allegations in Santa Barbara is quoted as saying neither of her two children were ever left alone with the entertainer. The children are described as expressing a "fondness for the entertainer" and are said to enjoy spending time at his sprawling "Neverland" home. "They enjoyed visiting his home, where they would often ride in the park, play video games, and watch movies." The mother told the confidential probe conducted last February that her son had slept in the same room as Jackson, but was certain they never shared a bed. Jackson would sleep on the floor, she said. The comments are consistent with claims Jackson made about the sleepovers in a British documentary aired on ABC the same month. If true, the statements would contradict the allegations that led to Jackson's arrested November 20. So far, the Website Jackson established last month as the "source of official communications on my case," has not published a comment on the report. Created in 1997, The Smoking Gun posts confidential and unlikely documents obtained from court files and U.S. freedom of information requests. The site was acquired by the cable station Court TV in December 2000. The Smoking Gun Article |
