However, this is after all the Teen Choice Awards - a very commercial, mainstream award show- so, some pop-friendly rock band, like No Doubt, Good Charlotte, and Sum 41, could surely seize the day. Nonetheless, this shouldn't discredit them because they were actually NOMINATED for this award by TEENS across the nation again....good thing? bad thing? hmmmm...

No use of gel/spikey hair. Lyrics contain words that aren't in the average 14 yr old's vocab ie. shadow or martyr. No trendy video. Nobody below the age of 30.

HOWEVER I wouldn't be upset if either coldplay or the white stripes won instead. Coldplay is very talented and they're an awesome live show, and the white stripes is pretty damn talented. Audioslave is better than them both though. ::Sigh::
