replied on: 8/17/2003 11:44:44 PM from what i heard is those high tech engineers who we pay big bucks to prevent these things from happening all they had to do was throw the switch to the breaker...well most of them (the smart ones) saw this problem and threw the switch...but the one in ohio was a bit too late (wonders what he was doing)...probally being like homer simpson |

replied on: 8/23/2003 11:33:45 PM Oh well, it wasn't our fault. Power went out on the US side of the border 15 minutes before we lost anything. I went without power for 23 hours... only really inconvenience was the lack of food and refridgeration. My family doesn't really use air conditioning unless it's 35+ celcius or a smog advisory. I'm one of the old fashioned types who enjoy a nice breeze and the sounds of summer |
