(D'oh!). I only found out today & here’s an article about the whole thing: Axis of Justice Radio Network The Axis of Justice Radio Network is a new monthly radio program that combines music, passion, politics and activism. System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello weave together 60 minutes of “rebel music,” discussion and interviews about our world and the struggle for justice. Each program features passionate dissident songs from artists like Public Enemy, Bob Marley, and the Clash, while Tom and Serj explain the political messages and motives behind the music, as well as their relationship to the political and social issues we face today. Shows also feature interviews with courageous activists fighting the power and making a difference. The first Axis of Justice Radio Network show will air Friday, April 18 at 9pm PST on Los Angeles’ KPFK, 90.7 FM. You can listen online at www.kpfk.org, or you can listen to the show later via our online archives (coming soon). Show #1 features music is about war and peace, and features an interview with acclaimed rebel filmmaker Michael Moore, director of the Academy Award winning documentary Bowling for Columbine, who also directed the System of a Down anti-war video "Boom!". there are also some photos of Tom & Serj, go here if you wanna see them: AOJ PICS |

replied on: 4/26/2003 2:24:01 PM Browsed aoj board for info regarding this matter & i found what i was hoping for: Axis of Justice Radio info -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lots of folks have asked questions about the Axis of Justice radio show which aired last week. Main answers: 1) New shows will air once a month. Don't know the exact date of the next one, but it will probably be the third Friday of every month. 2) The show will be available online soon, and I will post a message here as soon as that happens. JK. Next month it is then. |
