But, few such collaborations have been as strange as one that will show up on the soundtrack to the much anticipated Matrix Reloaded. In addition to obvious choices like Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, the disc also features a collaboration between Paul Oakenfold and Dave Matthews. Oakenfold provides a remix of "When The World Ends," a song off of The Dave Matthews Band’s 2001 album, Everyday. According to Billboard.com, Oakenfold actually mixed the song a couple of years ago, but due to its title, he decided to sit tight on it after the attacks on September 11. The Matrix Reloaded album (which is packaged with a second disc filled with music from the film’s score), also features an additional Oakenfold track, plus songs by P.O.D., Rage Against The Machine and Deftones and will be in stores May 6. The actual film will be in theatres on May 15. replied on: 5/16/2003 3:37:54 AM but it sounded awesome...they play it at the end...what a perfect way to end a perfect movie with no ending...calm like a bomb made up for it, though, as soon as i got in the car, battle of l.a. had to go in the c.d. player!!!
