replied on: 7/13/2003 11:02:32 PM I dunno exactly what kind of Whammy you are looking at...but I thought Tom used the Digitech (original) Whammy. The new versions of them I've found on the internet for like 200 BRAND NEW...my suggestion is to look around on the net and not those too-often-money-hungry music stores. And yea, your other reply post says that getting Tom's pedal won't make you Tom...but who wants to try being someone that's a one of a kind? Don't let that discourage you from purchasing it b/c I look at it like...if it's good enough for Tom then it's good enough for me...why try something else that could be junk just b/c you can say "Well, I'm trying not to be just like Tom" -Spiral out...Chris |

replied on: 7/20/2003 12:23:20 AM That was actually my first post on this forum...before i knew there was a spiral out guy on here....I'm quite the tool junkie so instead of sayin "peace" or "cheers" I tend to say "spiral out" or some other tool reference. Sorry dude...as for the equipment thing...it's all a matter of opinion. My reasons for going for gear like the actual artists is just to assure a sense of security in buying something..but it's not like buying "the shoes" so i could be LIKE MIKE! heh heh -------------------------------------- |
