Can anyone help we with any information they may have on my grandfather who lived in the woolston Green area in 1901 and later with the hill family. His name was William John Full and had a daughter Doris. After his divorce he went to live with a Florrie Hill and her son whom I met on many occasions and afterwards with her daughter Florrie Dunn.

Hi

Many thanks for the reply. Yes, he was living at that address at that time. I afraid I don't know the exact house though. He married a girl from Newton Abbot and then went to live in "Hillcroft" by the cider farm. After that he lived with the "Hill" family in a house called "Glenarron" in Hillcroft until his death in 1957. If you have any information on him I would be very happy to share what I have with you if you like.

Many thanks

David

Hello,

Sorry judging by your reply we're talking about 2 different William John Full's, probably the usual story of names just being passed through different family lines, my William John was only 13 at the time of the 1901 census.

Am fairly certain that he moved out of the area way before then and think he died later than 58.

sorry I can't be of help

Hi

The William John Full that I am interested in was born in 1887/8 and would have been 13 or so at that time. He is buried in The Parish Churchyard in Staverton

Thanks

David
