John Potter and Charlotte Tinkham

hi,i'm new to this so i will give it a go,charlotte tinkham married john potter in 1863 at staverton, (william tinkham a laborour)presence of jane tinkham.I obtained this from micro-fishe at exeter records office a few years ago.I am a tinkham by birth,are you related to this family,maybe we could help each other,hope this helps anyway goodluck

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone had any information on John Potter and Charlotte Tinkham or their families.

So far:

John was born ca. 1841 and
Charlotte was born ca. 1842, both in Staverton.

In the 1861 census, both are living in Staverton but are not yet married. They later moved to London, where John became a police sergeant in the Metropolitan Police. They had 2 children, William Charles Tinkham Potter and Eva.

Just wanted to know if anyone had run across them in their research?
