Hi there hope you are all looking forward to the summer holidays, i know i am.

Just an update on how things went this season for the Football Club. Simons Reserve team did exceptionally well again this season winning Division 6 and Div 6 League Cup and My boys (Christian) Won division 3 but could not match that of the reserves and got knocked out of the League Cup in the 1/4 finals.

We picked our trophies up on the SDL presentation night which took place on 22nd June 2007 in Torquay at the Grand Hotel. The players were presented with their winners medals aswell.

The Club have had their AGM and the following people have been elected as officers

President - Pete Mitch (Staverton local and alround good egg)

Chairman - Chris Oliver (me)
Vice Chair - Steve Towl
Sec and Tres - Tracy Towl

1st team management - Chris Oliver and Mark Morris
Res team management - Si Head and Kev Lovering.

Just want to say thanks to all those at Staverton and Landscove who have supported us all through the year, we look forward to seeing you at the Fair on Bank holiday monday at the end of August, hopefully we will have the trophies on show.
