I've had trouble with a ghost that's followed me throughout much of my life, and have come to a point where I need to find out how to either get it to leave or find a happy co-existance with it. Now, I've spent most of my life being able to sense or see ghosts. I wouldn't call myself a full-fledged medium, necessarily, but have found myself around them quite a lot. There was one that shared my room with me when I was a child that did things simply to horrify me, and would at times invade my dreams. The one I need help with, in particular, came around when I moved into a house in Texas when I was about 11. It started out just making small noises that could be explained, and I got feelings of someone being in the room with me or watching me. After about a year, however, it started to touch me, just gently on the shoulder or back. Now, as an adult, it has begun actually making sound, like a child's laughter, and is genuinely trying to keep me awake at night. It has always done such things at the same time...during the 2am hour...and by 3:15am, it stops and is quiet the rest of the night and during the day (with the exception of the touching...I get that at pretty much any hour). Now, I have never minded it doing things that felt like someone placing their hand on my shoulder or on my back, and I didn't even mind when I felt it stroke my leg or arm...it's the fact that I'm now not getting enough sleep, and I have a child, and have to wake early and take her to school, and have to have the energy to take care of her properly, and I just don't anymore. Anyone have any ideas? I don't get the feeling (as I am psychic) that this is a ghost that wishes to harm me or scare me, necessarily. I get the feeling that it's a child that just wants someone to spend time with. I've asked recently that they communicate with me, and last night heard a child's voice (though not that I could make out actual words...it was trying, but wasn't able to fully speak) and a child's laughter. Given that it was around 2am at the time, I have full confidence that I wasn't hearing a human child. It's trying to speak to me psychically, but doesn't seem to know quite how to do it. So, I feel at a loss as to what to do. I don't know who this is, or why they chose me, but I've lived in two different states since noticing it, and it has followed me everywhere. I'm willing to see the possibility that the ghost when I was a child is different from the one that I've felt since I was around 12, as the one when I was a child I felt was genuinely trying to scare me, and this one I feel just wants companionship. Any ideas? I would simply like to sleep at night. I don't mind if he/she tries to communicate with me during the day, but I've GOT to get some good sleep. |

replied on: 7/29/2005 7:29:39 PM If you are now very annoyed you should maybe start by expressing it rather than being overly apologetic for the spirit. A good way to cut it off from you may be to take up an intense demanding hobby that keeps you busy all the time. Perhaps youll be so tired nothing can keep you awake. |

replied on: 8/25/2005 6:46:26 AM If you found out how to make that stop, please tell me how. For years, I think a ghost has been following me around. When he/she started to make itslef notice. It would jump on mine & my roomates beds. When I would lay down, it would always be tapping my back. One time it grabbed my roomates (excuse my language)nut sac and let go. For awhile it stop messing with me. Until I started to go to church and try to be religious, well it got bad. I woke up with ugly fright and ugly feelings, and ugly dreams. I felt something bad is in my room. I have been feeling something jumping off my bed, and one time I say a huge figure of a man. I was coming out of my sleep, because I felt something on me. I have been moving around. I have moved out of town as well. So unless I have been moving into huanted apartments. I don't know. I just want to be normal and not be afraind to sleep at night.

A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a small scratch on my breast. I was wearing a long nightgown that didn't have buttons so I really couldn't scratch myself. Usually I feel someone jumping off my bed at night. And that one time when I saw a figure standing near my bed. It was tall, very dark I didn't see any arms. The figure kind of reminded me of the figure they put on the men’s restroom door. He had broad shoulders. He was huge, but he disappeared. And this happens when I get night terrors. I read some where that is when he is raping you at night. You wouldn’t feel it or anything. I think I am just loosing my mind |

replied on: 8/25/2005 10:40:41 AM In really thinking about things, I think I've figured out that I have had two separate entities hanging around me/my home. There's one that likes to touch me every now and then (simple pretty innocent things, like a hand on my shoulder or lower back), and then there's one that likes to do things to wake me and keep me up at night. I get the feeling that they're separate because I think the one that touches me just wants me to know he/she's there, whereas the other that does things to wake me seems child-like and just wants attention. I have experienced an almost ceasing of the child-like happenings pretty much since writing about them. I asked the spirit to please let me sleep. Ever since then I do hear things moving about, but nothing close to how it was before. I think that must have helped. |

replied on: 8/25/2005 11:22:22 AM I don't know if your religious but this Episcopal priest told me to say this prayer. I am catholic it's a little the same thing. But I am willing to try anything to have a good sleep. Maybe you can try it if you pray. But I don't think your ghost are evil but I just want to put it out there. May the cross of the Son of God, which is mightier than all the hosts of Satan, and more glorious than all the hosts of heaven, abide with me in my going out and my coming in. By day and by night, at morning and at evening, at all times and in all places may it protect and defend me. replied on: 8/26/2005 9:46:16 AM I wouldn't asume just because the thing is on your bed and and has touched/scratched you that it means that it is haveing sex with you at night, I wouldn't worry about that unless i knew for shure. |

replied on: 8/31/2005 11:30:15 AM Hmm.. very interesting, I guess since i was a child i was told i could see spirits and so on, lately before i go to sleep now i feel like something is compressing my body and my breathing gets harder like someone is ontop of me.... sounds very strange and sometimes freaks me out...
