replied on: 3/14/2006 1:44:47 AM A few questions.... 1) Did this thing seem to acknowledge or react to your presence in any way, either of the times you've seen it? I don't think it reacted at all it was too busy raising the thing on the chain up in the air and back down with it's right hand, almost like a repitition of it's hands going up and down. But it must have reacted because it disappeared. 2) Did it seem to be black and white or color? All I saw was the black robe with a hooded head didn't see a face. It was never during the day that I saw it and haven't heard of anyone else seeing during the day. The thing it was moving up & down in it's hand seemed silver or not the same color as the robe, like the moon or car lights were reflecting off it. 3) Was it in the same exact spot both times you've seen it? Yes, same exact spot! 4) Did it do the same exact actions/movements both times you've seen it? Yes, same exact movements like I said in question #1 it was like a repition arms up and down. 5) Did it have the same exact appearance both times you've seen it? Yes but I didn't see it's face either time even though I tried to look for it...it didn't seem like it was there or was covered maybe? If you could give us a detailed, second by second breakdown of exactly what you saw both times, that would be awesome. Driving down Rt 66 North I'm in the passenger seat the first time. I remember the moon being bright that night...My husband was driving and as we approached that area of road...something is standing on my side of the road in a black robe holding something in it's right hand...my husband said "what the hell is that" as we pass it I'm yelling turn around while still watching it he takes the right it's really close to where this thing is and while he is doing that it just disappears. We drive back past and can't see anything running down over the hill which is what I thought it did like maybe jumped and that's why I thought it vanished. As I said it was a bright night we would have seen it running. We turned back around at the next red light and went back past "Nothing" was there.. The second time I'm coming down the same road there is a car in front of me and her lights are the ones that pick up whatever it is on the side of the road. She immediately puts her breaks on and starts to pull off so I follow. The thing just disappears again and she runs over to my car ranting and raving about seeing something... I told her I've see it before an no I have no idea what it is. She even looks down over the hill and there was nothing there.. So that's about it as far as the times I've see it... Meth, LOL I don't take any meds!! really allergic to most drugs... Even tylenol makes my nose numb LOL...but your probably right I should have my head examined Oh that's right I have had it examined and they tell me I'm pretty sane....LOL If I hadn't seen it... I wouldn't believe it if someone told me about it... but I wasn't the only one..my husband also saw it and he is what you would a borderline skeptic so he is also trying to figure out how "logically" this thing could be there and then gone...he seems to think it was a hoax or some nut case but still can't tell me how it was there and gone unless someone is really intelligent and is playing with peoples heads..Also the cops have reports of people seeing it and I overheard people talking about it in the grocery store check out lane so I'm not the only one seeing it...which makes me feel a whole lot better... |

replied on: 3/14/2006 8:06:05 AM It definitely sounds to me like this thing is residual if it is indeed paranormal. I want to be certain about a few more things though.... Once again, did you literally see this thing fade away and vanish without taking your eyes off of it, from the moment you saw it, until the very moment you could no longer see it or was it just gone when you turned around? * Did it slowly fade away or did it disappear all at once? * Did it swoop up into the air/go into the ground when it vanished or did it vanish right where it was standing? * Was it still making the same movements with it's hand as it vanished? * Are there any trees right where the thing is always seen, where someone could have possibly had something rigged up with strings or some such to animate this thing? * What exactly did the thing on the chain look like that it was holding? Wierd that the thing is wearing a black robe. If it is a spirit/residual haunting, it makes me wonder if it was once some sort of witch or possibly in some kind of satanic occult. - Aedryan |

Meth the road where we turned around is about 100-150 ft approx from where this thing was..The first time I was in the drivers seat and kept my eyes on it because to tell the truth it stunned me because I've never seen anything like it. The second time I was pulling off the road as it went away so it's safe to say I may not have been paying as much attention as the first time. * Did it slowly fade away or did it disappear all at once? All at once like just poof gone. * Did it swoop up into the air/go into the ground when it vanished or did it vanish right where it was standing? Right where it was standing. * Was it still making the same movements with it's hand as it vanished? Yep * Are there any trees right where the thing is always seen, where someone could have possibly had something rigged up with strings or some such to animate this thing? Yes there are 3 sparse looking trees and no leaves at this time of year. * What exactly did the thing on the chain look like that it was holding? Like a priest would use in a church for incense. I didn't get a real good look at it but knew that it was shiny. I was paying more attention to the robe thing than what it was holding. Wierd that the thing is wearing a black robe. If it is a spirit/residual haunting, it makes me wonder if it was once some sort of witch or possibly in some kind of satanic occult. That is if it's not a hoax...I'm in the process of talking to the (DC) delmont cops to see if anyone else has had any more reportings of it. I'm still not buying into anything paranormal until I can figure it out...if I can't find anything else then yep I'll believe it's paranormal..Then what? |
