replied on: 12/4/2005 7:44:17 PM Yeah, i've noticed wierd things like that happening here once in awhile. I have no clue what causes it. I always make it a habit to copy all of my posts before I post it just in case it doesn't post for some reason.... - Aedryan |

replied on: 12/5/2005 12:14:20 PM I noticed that too but dismissed it as the last person to post could be a person who edited an old post, but i didnt know people were actually losing posts. And yes its becoming extremely difficult to keep track of things with the current volume of activity on the forums, i cant even find threads i posted in not more than 4 days ago. |

replied on: 12/6/2005 1:49:46 AM I agree. There also seems to be a lot of new people joining the forum, maybe that is the reason for so many posts??? |

replied on: 12/6/2005 5:10:12 PM As far as i can tell threads have just vanished, as if they were totally deleted. I would check with chat area to see if theres a limit to forum size. I got 2 forums myself, free ones i might add and there maximum space is 10mb. |

replied on: 12/6/2005 6:17:58 PM Nah, there is no size limit with ChatArea.com. All forums have certain glitches it seems. Unfortunately, I have no control over them here. |

replied on: 12/7/2005 9:40:15 AM Not that I know of, Brandon. I think a lot of what may be going on is, I will move posts/topics to more relevent threads sometimes. You guys might want to make sure your posts weren't just moved. Also, on a couple occassions we had members (not mentioning any names) return after not posting for months and make about a dozen silly posts in a row in the "Off The Topic" thread. All, but maybe one of those posts were just deleted.... - Aedryan |
