(There was a going out of business sale at the toys r us, its haunted too, but thats another matter) When two of used it we got nada. Then we got a third person. I was very impressed by the results, heres a sample: (after some very uninteresting gibberish from someone who called themself Kes, who said she came from "oval") me: who are we speaking to board: Trudy Getterson me: where do you come from board: shueue me:when did you die board: 58 me: 1958? board: yes me:how old were you board: 46 me: what would you like to tell us? board: amamom me: you had children? how many? board: 1 me: a boy or girl? board: yes me: (?)what was the name? board: Rinkas me: (?) later... (my friend wanted to talk to his dad) me: is this Gary Willian XXXX board: Y E S friend: what was the name of your first wife? (to test) board: Rose (correct) that scared us.... moving on i asked for my grandmother me: what was your frist name board: B (correct) board: U (correct) board: R (correct) board: incorrect letters for a while me: thats not right board: BUR several more times then some gibberish then *GOODBYE* then our female friend asked for John Wayne Gasey of all people. None of us knew much about him except her. her: how many people did you kill board: 91 ( dont know if this is right) her: where did you come from board: Chicago (correct) me: what else would you like to tell us board: Love board: *our female friends name* me: who loves her board: M... at this point i was afraid of what it would say (her mother died recently) so i kept it from going to the left of the board and then forced it to the goodbye later.... friend wanted to speak to FDR ( hes distantly related) me: we would like to speak to Franklin Delanoe Roosevelt friend: (jokingly) what do you think about polio board: no board: gibberish board: ZO..GAMEOVER board: DIE at that point we had quite enough The weirdest thing about the whole experience was that whenever the board seemed *confused* or angry it would go back and forth between to the two same letters ZAZAZAZAZAZAZAZA CVCVCVCVCVCVCVCV AMAMAMAMAMAMAMAM very bizarre, somehow the experience left all three of us feeling very tired. |

replied on: 1/17/2006 2:58:55 PM quote: Yep, very normal. I use my Ouija all the time, and at least once it will spell out two repeating letters that mean nothing. quote: Sometimes just two people just do not provide enough energy for the board to work correctly, but like anything, practice makes perfect. The more you work with a board, the more easy it is to use it with only two people, though it always seems to work better with more. quote: Ouch, most spirits dont like to talk about stuff like that. I've never had any luck at all getting famous people to come through, so I really cant tell you much about that. Anyways, good luck with the board! Hope I helped! Mo |

replied on: 1/23/2006 2:37:47 PM quote: Yeah, stuff like that is pretty common, as Dag said. Like i've said elsewhere, sometimes it takes a great deal of time and patience for the board to work through all the gibberish and really start saying things. It can literally take up to a couple hours of sitting there before it happens sometimes. I don't know why, but it just does. As far as Ouija Boards not liking to talk about death and such, as Dag suggested, I would have to disagree. There have been MANY times i've had the Quija Board talk about "death", "die", "evil", "Satan" and lots of other negativity. Many times those sort of things will be the first legit words it will start out saying. Again, I don't know why that is, it just seems to be.... Maybe because there is so many negative "vibes" surrounding the board? Or maybe because we always tried to get it to say spooky things? However, there have been times that we hadn't got to the point yet and it would just come off with something like, "Die Fucker" or some such out of the blue. Dunno.... As far as getting better results with more than 2 people. That isn't true in my experience either. As i've also said elsewhere, the Ouija Board just does not seem to work good for some people. It always seems to work good for me, but it truely seems to depend on who is using it with me. I really couldn't say exactly what kind of people it does or doesn't work good with or why, but it really does seem to matter. Keep trying, B and please keep us posted! Yours in Strange Happenings, Aedryan PS Those stupid LinkBot things are Google Ads. Apparently ChatArea decided to add yet more annoying ads.... |

replied on: 1/24/2006 12:28:22 PM The group i'm affiliated with use the ouija on occasions and they have very good results. They never ask for a particular person to come through but just see how it goes. Some members of the team won't touch it at all, while others are willing, the co-founder of the group is fully competant in using it. However in the hands of people who are just using it for fun, accidents can happen. It may of been a victorian parlour game but it works for some reason or another, so I think just playing around with it is slightly foolhardy, I wouldn't. |

Do you see it as the board itself talking to you, or a spirit talking to you through the board? Ive only had 'death' spelled out to me once, and i asked the spirit to rephrase before it finished XD. Who can say for sure if it IS a spirit or our own subconscience moving the planchette? quote: I absolutely agree with you there, though i do think that if it dosnt work at first, and you still have a desire to use a board, keep at it and hopefully itll start workin for ya. But thats just me. Good luck and keep at it. |

My buddy and I have sat with a board for over 8 hours in one sitting. quote: With this statement I would have to agree with Meth also. I have spoke to a spirit that claimed it was Satan and I tell you right now, that I don't doubt it was one bit. We asked for a sign that it was him and there was a very hard and loud bang on the wall from outside and when we took a closer look outside there was no one around. quote: |
