When you die, everything in your human body shuts down.... no longer functions, fails to respond "Period"!!! The lights go out and nobody's home anymore..... So here's my question....What makes everybody think that Ghosts, spirits, entities, etc,. think with a brain...They don't take it with them so.......for example some people will say they have a menacing ghost attacking them or something is pushing me or hitting me.... How can this be possible? The human brain tells the body what to do but when you die you do not take your brain with you so how would they know to lift their hand and take a crack at you???? Does anyone think that maybe they have no control of where there going like right through a wall???? Also this has nothing to do with the topic but why are ghosts, spirits, entities, etc,. wearing clothes....LOL I know this question has been asked before but.....LOL??? Just a little humor....with... Just a little question..... |

Picking their brain!!!
replied on: 1/31/2006 2:51:09 PM I raised this point a very long time ago just in a different manner. There was many good views but all still lacked the right sort of substance to make any logical sense. Spirits wearing clothing? hummm... My personal views would be pretty much what i always say, its what ever you expect to see and 90% of the time you expect to see a human wearing clothes. |

replied on: 2/1/2006 7:07:31 AM Damnit, Shay, why are you using logic? This is by no means a subject I have done much research on because I can't prove consciousness; I can only try to prove physical existence. It's not hard though for me to imagine and speculate that the electrical responses utilized in the human brain could hold some organization or signaling paths in three dimensional space. It is thought that the internal organization of the entities post mortem existence is organized within a type of ionized plasma. This ionized plasma could be the “physical” substance used to form these signaling paths or channels. It is possible and has been shown in laboratory experiments to send separate current paths within this plasma with separate frequencies and phases. For those of you who think that plasma only forms under extreme temperature conditions, you are wrong. There are natural examples of these types of anomalies forming at room temperature called coulomb balls. These recently discovered coulomb balls are actually microparticles of polymer dust that form through electron bonding (exerting a “strong force” Anyways, I find it easy to believe that an entity can still have consciousness but a little bit harder to believe they have emotions (since they are an electrochemical response to stimuli). |

replied on: 2/1/2006 8:57:22 AM Ok Frank I'm guilty for using logic....But now you stole my next point.....Emotions....to my way of thinking I think it's impossible....I understand what you were talking about but emotions just can't logically fit into the whole thing....So why do people say "menacing, dark, scarey, when explaining a ghost, entitie, etc,. I don't think that the ghost, entity etc, is giving the emotion it's the way the people are percieving them...If that makes any sense... Like someone saying that they think that the ghost is trying to do them harm???? Ok that would be their feeling or emotion not the ghost.... As far as being physically attacked by one I've heard some pretty far fetched things but nothing conclusive....So I'm going with "No Emotion" other than what the person is feeling at the time they see them....their own feelings.... |

replied on: 2/1/2006 9:20:07 AM I know for a fact that the human brain is not still alive after death.....Actually some people with strokes will be known as brain dead meaning there is no other function....The machines keep them alive until a family member signs the paper for life support to be stopped....I've also been a situation where the brain was studied... there is no life of the brain other than small pulses for a little while after death then there is nothing trust me on this one..... |

replied on: 2/1/2006 10:00:07 AM I agree Shay. When people refer to entities as being dark, evil, menacing or whatever they are revealing they're own fear. Those are words that describe they're fear! As for being attacked, because I have experienced this (being hit, pushed, scratched, poked and pinched), I think it is more of a case of being in the way. I don't think it is a personal attack because of who you are but rather you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then again, I have been "helped" out of a room before! |

replied on: 2/1/2006 11:07:54 AM quote: I agree, that is true in some cases but not all. I know I have used the word dark in one of my description but it wasn't out of fear. It was what I felt from it. |

replied on: 2/2/2006 1:32:50 AM Frank were you "helped out the room" by an entity or a fellow investigator? I've also heard that if you were to be in the way that you could be hit or "attacked" I've never experienced this except for during "ASP" Hair pulling and feeling like I'm being moved around etc,. So I'll have to take your word for it... I think when a person is not ready to see or feel something that comes along it comes to them as a shock and then fear sets in...I think it's more the fear of the unknown or what could happen at that particular time that makes people nervous about the paranormal.. Also I said in another post that ghosts, entities, etc,. cannot be contained. Meaning that you can put them in a little box and study them...LOL That's another fear... like if your on an investigation and things start to go wrong your first reaction would be to try to logically control the situation but not sure how too. Ok ramblin here........ |
