Sounds like an (sp) next time try moving your eyes or try to move even a finger it should stop but if it doesn't....just ride it out and write it down immediately after you wake up....I've had (ASP) for years and still don't have all the answers.... Here's a little question....You said that you felt finger nails going down your back? Was there any marks when you woke up? |

replied on: 2/3/2006 2:57:22 AM They claim that most episodes of "SP" the person is on their back...If there were no visible marks after you woke up I would say that yep it was "SP" If it happens again...write down the episode as soon as you are coherent enough to do so....Also the date and time that's what I do.... |

replied on: 2/3/2006 4:36:04 AM That's some nice Old Hag Syndrom stuff right there. It was the belief that if someone slept on their back their face and everything would be exposed. In the ages of the Inquisition they said that a Succubus would sit on top of you and have sex. This would reverse the HOLY order between man and woman. I have never heard of sleep paralysis case without someone being on their back. |
