I've never sat at the computer after an "ASP" episode but hey here I am..... I feel totally drained at the moment and I'm just really tired of this happening... I have no answers to why I have to go through this all the time and thought that by coming onto this site that I could find some answers...??? Nope not happening... Maybe there are no answers really....that's what I'm starting to believe... I will say that this was one of the strongest episodes I've ever encountered and if I can post a couple pics of my forearms I will do so... I have some really deep red marks on my forearms...??? Actually Meth I'll send you the pics and you can post them...If you feel that they are worth seeing... I will tell you that I went to sleep at around 2:30 a.m. and something was holding me down around 2:50 a.m. It was dark in the room but I could feel pressure on my forearms like I've never experienced before... Actually it felt like my arms were being pushed with such a force that I felt like they were going to break..."No joke here" I won't go into detail about the episode unless Meth wants me too... It was that bizarre...I have been keeping a log and this is his site so I'll let him decide what's appropriate...????When I pulled myself out of it and sat up I felt a stinging sensation on my forearms so I got up and went into the bathroom.... there are red marks on my forearms.....So someone explain where they came from???? They look like finger marks like someone was squeezing my arms... I need some help guys...I've had episodes before but never had any marks.... Let me know what you think..... I'm not panicking just need your input... actually feel really drained and tired at the moment...... I've had enough guys/girls I need some answers.... One thing is for sure....Shaybeck will probably be awake for the rest of the day....It really freaked me out.... |

replied on: 2/4/2006 11:03:39 AM This is just a suggestion maybe itll show something maybe not but its worth a try..if you have a video recorder record your self..you will know around the time that it happened so you wont have to watch the whole tape..maybe you could stream it to your computer to make the video longer..i dunno...thats what i would do |

Husband had a theory that if we taped it that we would see...But it doesn't work...Batteries...Maybe we could just plug the video recorder in and see what happens ... I'll let you guys know...I still have the marks on my arms by the way.. more on my right forearm than my left... thinking I'll take more pics ....they are a lot darker than they were at onset....hmmm guys I have no idea...My husband said that I was freaking out and he grabbed my shoulders and then I just took off out of our bedroom headed to the bathroom... He helped me take the pics and he can't explain them either.... One thing is for sure...he was asleep but when he heard me screaming he woke up and asked me what happened? I told him someone was trying to hurt me....Well I still have the marks so someone explain them to me...????? |

replied on: 2/6/2006 3:08:54 AM Shay, Has this "problem" followed you where-ever you have moved? To me this doesn't sound like a typical ASP event. I don't remember all of your posts on the subject, so I don't remember whether you mentioned how long this has been going on, though I am sure you did. I think you have mentioned whether you have been tested for epilepsy right and it was negative. I'm not trying to sound like I don't believe you because I do. I am just trying to get it straight in my head before I tap my resources to see what they can tell me or offer suggestions. I don't want to interfere with Meth's study of your situation or compromise your privacy so if you have any information that may be useful, email it to me. warrior18eii@yahoo.com |

replied on: 2/6/2006 6:43:15 AM Don't feel like you are interfering, Frank. This isn't about me. It's about Shay and she needs all the help she can get, trying to get to the bottom of this. Shay, how does February 24th look for you on your calander? Chances are, we're probably not going to be lucky enough to document an episode while we're there, but if there is anything paranormal going on while we are there, we'll definitely capture it. We literally have an arsenal of equipment these days and we could probably damn near setup surveillance in every room of your house. We even have motion sensor cameras and video now. replied on: 2/7/2006 2:04:34 AM Frank to answer your questions... I've had this for around 30 years...off and on.. it has no set pattern...I don't feel any different before the episodes. Meaning I can never pin point when it's going to happen... No epilepsy, mental illness...Even went through a sleep disorder clinic...I tried it a couple times to see if anything would happen...I checked in and they monitored me overnight... Nothing....I did dream but nothing that even resembled "ASP" The episodes have happened no matter where I was... I even had one while on vacation in a hotel...So??? Meth the 24th is no good for me...We have been looking for a larger home for about 3 years and "FINALLY" found one...So we are going to be moving soon.... We need 4 bedrooms for our family size and have found a really nice home that is close to my husbands work..Moving is not going to change what happens in my home really I know this because I've moved a couple times over the years and the same thing happens with the "Little girl" it takes a couple months for her to make an appearance but she comes back...Maybe after we get settled in...we can discuss what would be a good time. As far as how graphic this last episode was I am kind of leery about saying anything...meaning it was unlike any I've had before...In the past I've felt like something was holding me down...Felt like my hair was pulled... etc,. but this time it was pulling at my clothes... I know this sounds ludicrous but it was a violent episode..The only other comment is that it was more of a sexual nature, and I won't go into detail on this because it is more embarrassing than anything else..My clothes were not ripped or anything but the way whatever it was....was pulling at them you would have thought they would have been in rags...Also my legs and back have been hurting ever since... I don't know if it was because my body was so tense during the episode or not but that's what I'm thinking...No other marks on me just my forearms...they are starting to get a lighter color now..Actually the marks on my left one are hardly visible now but on the right they are still there...they look like three finger marks....not just the tips like the whole finger. I will tell you that I do not bruise easy but they are on the forearms so that might have made a difference... I'm not really good at posting pics or taking them from my camera to my computer...I will give it a shot... hopefully I won't screw it up... I am going to take the chip to walmart and copy off a couple before I attempt to put them on my computer...If I need some help I'll get in touch with either Frank or Meth... One thing is for sure...I don't know how the marks got there and the episode happened quick...shook me up and I ended up sitting up on the couch all night...My husband slept on the other couch and every once in a while he would ask me if I was ok...I think he realized that I was a mess. I literally passed out from exhaustion...meaing I was fighting my sleep...but eventually I did get a little...Thanks for your reply guys... |

So your getting it straight from my camera... I wouldn't have the first clue as to how to edit it... I know I sound stupid but I'm an newbie at taking pics from my camera to my computer so I hope it's clear enough??? Let me know what you think... Meth I would have sent it to you but wasn't sure of your e-mail address...I know it's Methyus something or other... I have no idea how something linked to "ASP" could make a mark like that and frankly I'm shook up about it....It never hurt. Just right at the onset of it... It stung..something like a smack in the face kind of sting. It didn't turn greenish/yellow colored or anything like a normal bruise right now it's starting to fade a bit and it's more of a darker red...?? have no idea guys really...???? Let me know what your take is on this?? I do know that whatever happened I was on my back when this happened and it felt like something was physically pushing so hard on my forearms that I felt like the bones in my arm were going to break...Also my elbow went numb.....most of the pressure was on my right forearm...that's the pic I sent...The other arm wasn't as red but there were lighter red marks on it... |

Feel free to email the story to me in strict confidence if you'd like, but if it's too embarrassing or something I understand. Whatever ya do, just keep on keeping detailed thorough logs and collecting as much of your own evidence as you can, like we've already discussed. That is going to be the whole key to finding any sort of patterns to this. Scary thing you're dealing with here, but in the same token, you have a great opportunity to learn from your own experiences, which could end up helping A LOT of people. Good luck! - Aedryan |

replied on: 2/7/2006 9:06:15 PM You have problems with Fatigue Shay? Also have you been getting enough sleep? sometimes lack of sleep can cause SP. Or even to much sleep. There also Narcolaspy (Spelling) which can cause SP. Specially if your experiencing it during the day. Problem with eplispy test they can't always detect you have it unless your having symptoms during the test. Eplispy sometimes does leave scar's showing you did have something happen but this is very rare. This one reason they do sleep deprived test to try to get you to have some of symptoms. You can't sleep for 24 hours before the test and during your allowed to sleep but there hoping this will cause some kind of misfire in you brain. Unless misfire is happening eplispy is very unlikely to be seen. Eplispy can cause what your saying also the bruises your complaining about. Not saying what your experiencing isn't something paranormal. Good Luck with is and keep us inform Mel |

replied on: 2/8/2006 1:54:40 AM Midnite... I've been tested and retested for epilepsy...I don't have it and there is also no family history of any kind linked to epilepsy... The only time I am sleep deprived is when I have an episode because it is really hard to go back to sleep when it happens...Also I'm not the kind of person to just lay around and sleep all the time.. I have 3 teenage daughters, a job and a house to keep up with so that keeps me pretty busy.. After an episode I will have a feeling of being really tired and lethargic...I don't know why this occurs but I think it has to do with stress of the episode...Also at the same time I'm too keyed up to fall back asleep...Usually try to read to get back to sleep... Meth I'm sorry I do have your e-mail address....LOL Stupid me...That's how I found this site in the first place. I'll send you a e-mail and tell you exactly what happened....I'll also send you the pic if you want... I did send it to frank and hopefully I did it right...duh I'm really not good at that sort of thing. |
