Investigation gone wrong?

Thought it would be interesting to see how many paranormal investigations that people on this forum have done that just went wrong...What I mean is that something out of the ordinary made them turn tail and run!!!

On some of the paranormal forums they all seem to have something or someone tell a story about a freaky thing that happened while on an investigation.

Now I know that investigating the paranormal can be a freaky thing in itself but those who take it seriously are usually ready for something strange to happen...I'm talking about being totally ready and something goes wrong that just makes everyone call it a night and leave quickly. Those are the stories that I want to hear about... I'm sure Meth and Frank would have some....Also I put this in polls because I wanted to see how many have happened.

Sure we have had things happen we didn't expect. I have to say though, we have never been run off of a site by an entity.

Normally we will take an extended break (30 minutes to an hour). This occurs when one of our team members gets "freaked out" after being overcome in some form or fashion and has to be re-centered.

We had one member have all light blocked out by an entity in a dimmly lit room. She could not see anything in any direction and she started freaking. She watched as this entity entered the room as a black mass and then it just enveloped her. Of course we couldn't see any of this at the time even though we were in the same room. Then again we didn't even look that direction until we heard her calling for help. When we played back the tape from one of our cameras you can see several seperate shadows moving through the room.

In retrospect all the entity would have to do is obscure her vision and not truely envelope her entire body. With her perspective it would seem that the entire room was blocked out.
