replied on: 2/27/2006 5:28:30 PM I think that death is just a release, a breaking free from the confines of the physical world. Our soul, or spirit if you will, is just energy and as such has almost unlimited potential. We could travel any where just by thinking it and at near the speed of light. Without the confines of a body, we could take any form we choose. In most ways, I feel that death is just a part of evolution and our body is simply the cocoon that we emerge from, if we are truly ready, we move to a higher plain of existence, you might call it heaven. If we are not completely ready, then we hang around as a ghost for a while, like a halfway house. If we are still clueless, we come back for another round and chance to get it right (up to about 1000 years of living experience). if we use up too many chances or just plain refuse to follow the rules, then may be hell comes into play for a bit (I do not buy into the EVERLASTING damnation story). Well, any way you look at it, if you know that ghosts exist, then you have to know that death is not the end, it’s just the beginning. I believe that anyone on this forum must know that there is more to it than just “lights out”. |

replied on: 2/28/2006 9:45:25 AM I think that people who die go to different levels with different abilities depending on what their life was like and what kind of person they were. Some may become just ghosts, some will come back, some will move on to a higher plain, and others may go on to become what some would call “angels”. This same principal would work for good and evil. |

replied on: 3/18/2006 2:46:51 AM That's my husbands theory also...that when you die that it's just lights out the body dies and you no longer exist except for in someones memories...I banking on a bit more...Hehehehe Also he wants to give his body to science...I just hope I go before he does ...don't think I could deal with knowing someone is hacking at my husband....LOL |
