My oldest is 17.. for a while she lived with her aunt. she comes back home and I sign her up for school. different school, she has never been in this. Well there is this group of girls that likes to start with her cousin and what not there. So they decide it would be fun to throw gum in her hair and what not. I told her to talk to the principle. she did they wouldnt stop and she set up a day where she was going to beat them up. ( she can be a real hard butt!) so I go to school to stop the fight and the principle has the nerve to tell me that my daughter had started things with these girls and started it two years before. So I pointed out she didnt live around here and had never met them. well he brushes me off because these kids parent are on the board.. then two weeks later after my daughter was out for a day he calls me and tells me that they have changed the dress code and when he told my daughter to take the chain that were built into the design on her pants and cut them off she told him no. he got nasty tried to cut them off for her and she told him to go "f" himself... so I get her from school and I asked him since its a public school why they didnt notify parents of the change of policy and he said " I dont have to tell you anything I make the rules" well I was good and held my temper. But then one day a few days later he tried to tell my daughter she had to wash off her tattoos . she tells them they are real ones I cant. he calls me and I told him they are real. he says well you only let her get them to piss me off. so I calmly told him" look between clients, books, books signings and tv interviews your right I have the time to worry about what pisses you off." so he them informs me that I will have them removed. I told them that I wouldnt and he informed me that I have to learn who has control over these kids and its not the parents! so I now home school her to prove to this jerk that I am the one with the control. What gets me is where are these schools finding these people. the are getting to be like priest instead they are asked to nicely leave their last job when things like tat happen so they can hurt new kids in a new place. I live in vermont our kids go to school for high school in granville new york. my town is like population 50 , 45 are cows and the other town isnt much different. the guidance councilor , three years ago, was dealing coke. he was also the twon judge, they asked him to nicely leave the school but allowed him to still stay a judge.. now he works in a new school. again where are the schools finding these people!!! |
